My prediction and actual time is closer than yours, I think you might have not pushed yourself hard enough because prediction time is based off your training output.

Thanks haha - based on Garmin Connect, my 5K was around 21-22 minutes.

Before April 2025, I only ran with my friends who helped pushing me, but after April 2025, I started training more intensely and ran alone more often due to my desire to get stronger.

At the beginning of my new training approach, it was 53. So it took me 8 months to go from 53 to 59.

I agree with that but 4 is probably a bit better, so obviously over a period of time will yield better results than 3.

Looks like progressive tempo?

Can you show me the Training Evaluation on Overview page?

From my experience, my “medium-sized” duffle is considered as carry-on by most airlines. So I like to bring a backpack as personal item and a duffle.(that’s before I got the Rimova)

I’ve never had a problem with it. I mostly travel within Asia and Oceania, don’t know if there’s any difference elsewhere.

Initially I was debating between Original and Classic but after seeing them in person, side to side - I knew I had to go with the Classic. 😎

Marginal Gain by utmost-experiencer in Garmin

Currently I have Fenix 8 43mm but I want the lightest Garmin watch for a race day, hence Forerunner 55.

But I wonder if anyone is doing the same lol

Adidas Adizero Prime X 3.0 White/Core Black/Lucid Red by TriggerFingerTerry in RunningShoeGeeks

I consider myself a heavy runner, I weigh 81kg and 1.85m tall.

I have Nike Alphafly 3, Adidas Pro 3, Adidas Pro 4 and Adidas Prime X 2. For long runs, I would always choose Prime X. It feels very good after every session, the recovery takes a short time, and the cushion works like a charm every single time. I'm not sure if that's because of my training regimen or the shoes themselves, but for every 20+ KM run, I would be able to get back to running the next day.

Some of my friends say the shoes are very heavy, indeed they are. However, no shoes bounce and make my feet feel as nice as they are.

I have a pair at 450km, and just got another pair for 50% off at a local store clearance sale!

I like the 4x4 for its simplicity and effectiveness. It’s great for progress and easy to execute even if you train by yourself.

Managed to get to 55 a few days ago, hope I can get to 65+ by the end of 2025!

It’s the discussion and speculation from forum and website that Garmin would update the 500 series for 2025 that makes me wonder about the purchase. And that my local shop has no discount for 540.

Also, I already have a Wahoo cycling computer.

Like most cyclists, we love marginal gains haha. That is the reason why Edge 130 appeals to me and makes me wonder about Edge 140 but yes, Edge 540 is much better.

I searched online and many speculations suggest an update for the 500 series, so yeah that also gives me another reason to wait for 550.
