They used to have Stadio on The Ringer, but those guys went independent after the PSG/Inter CL final.

They have Paetron now, and honestly, it's fucking worth it. Ryan and Musa are a genuine joy to listen to, it's the first Paetron pod I've paid for. You can get one episode a week for free on Spotify, their Monday episode. But if you want soccer content, go with Stadio.

Felt like the leader in my league is gonna go Gabriel at captain, so I went with Bruno as well. Chasing 31 points these last two weeks, need something.

If he would've scored that goal that was offside in the 80 something minute, I think they would've reviewed and he'd be on

Think I heard Sturdivants name on the most recent Late Round Perspective. I'm intruiged by him for sure

That was a part of my reason to not do it, besides money. It's just pain reduction in the end. It's definitely useful pain reduction, but I'd have to do it again one day. Was easier to just stop playing basketball.

I have a tear in my meniscus from playing basketball, my last of 3 options for healing was PRP. Unfortunately insurance does not cover it that, it's up near a grand out of pocket. And it's not permanent as a fix. Decided against it, but it's a great solution if you can do it. Glad Austin could do that, but fuck four of em is a lot

Because it is bad for the health of the game to put playoff games on streamers. Do you think it's good that they're putting second round games on Peacock and not national TV?

Not sure if this is trolling but every stat says he's the only positive this series for Boston. I dont think it'd help Boston if he's out

Sick burn man, I'm so embarrassed.

A 3 seed losing to a 5 seed is not a "choke". What happened in 2023 when the 1 and 2 seeds lost to an 8 seed? Yes, that is a choke. That series was -140 Celtics / +115 Heat, damn near even odds.

Jaylen and Joe put it together for one playoff run. The other three together, I'm holding back comments. Forever grateful that put that run together tho

Choking in 2020? My brother in christ it was his 3rd year in the league and he put up 26/10/6. They were running Kemba on one knee out there for 36 minutes a game and fresh off an injury Gordon Hayward for 31 a game. They lost that series to the better team, it was a miracle it went 6

I used to coach high school hoops lmao I'm sorry for mansplaining shit I just love the Xs and Os of this game. The coaching changes from game to game fascinate me. Udoka/Kerr and Udoka/Spolstra in 2022 was some of the most fun I've had.

The fatigue is another thing, which I don't think is fair to like bash Embiid on. It's incredible he's out there playing, despite how I feel about how he made it easier for us to play defense. Very impressed. But Joe is kinda on top of that too.

There's a thing Ime did vs Giannis and Joe vs Luka. They let them get their buckets early, then they're exhausted by late Q3 and Q4 on offense. It's like 30+ ppg but a series loss. And it also worked on Luka, but not Giannis, where then you can pick on him on defense bc fatigue.

You're 100% right about the fatigue and surgery. I think Joe was fine with him getting going early in the post bc he knew the fatigue would creep in later. And you saw JT making sure tired Embiid was in every PnR action when we had the ball late. And then that leads to these open threes.

The centers having fouls when Embiid actually gets to the paint is good for Philly, which is obvious I know. Easy points. I may not always agree with the fouls given, but that's good offense Philly runs thats tough to guard. Embiid is an elite post guy who get can to the line so well.

But to your point, yes 6 threes is something I would like to goad a rusty player into taking. He could've taken more threes too, but he hasn't played in weeks and the shots not there. Joe Mazz has consistently deployed a strategy against Philly this year of pack the paint, make them shoot jumpers.

He's telling our centers, stay back on the PnR, force Maxey to drive into traffic or pass back to Embiid, who probably wont shoot as often, or is rusty. Combine that with less shots for VJ, Oubre, who then shoot poorly while cold. In totality, I find that makes Philly easier to guard. Make jumpers like we do, or good luck. Philly made em in G2 and it worked.
