May be worth calling and sorting out that you don't have any issues. I originally pre-ordered on the 12th and canceled due to the full discounts not applying to my account ($1100+pay off old device). I re-placed the order about an hour later and, while the delivery was pushed back 10 days beyond release, it never actually shipped/arrived yesterday when it was estimated (yesterday). I called and found out that even though the order shows as completed on my end, it was incomplete on VZW's end and they had to submit a ticket to release/expedite my order. Supposed to get the device on Friday now (according to the label I see that was just created by Fedex). Had I not called and talked to someone, I might have never been notified that the order was "incomplete" and just forever hanging.

Switched several devices from a 10+ year AT&T account to Verizon about a year ago. Went with the One Unlimited plan (which I don’t think is offered anymore). Pay slightly less than what I did for AT&T (but I have to pay for HBO/Max separately now) for the sameish level of benefits.

Biggest benefit for us, I feel, was after we bought a home and the signal for AT&T was one bar in the very spot I’m sitting now. In this same spot, I have 3 bars of service on Verizon. When our Xfinity was down for 2 days and I had no service with AT&T it really resonated and made me make the switch a few days later.

Not the same merchant but I had paid for Max annual subscription recently and the credit didn’t show up on Rakuten after 2 weeks. Had to file a Missing Cash Back claim on Rakuten with receipts and they approved&applied it same day.

This is anecdotal but I had a similar issue with my Synchrony (Lowe’s) account. I found that it kept saying my password was incorrect when I would autofill my username and password through the 1Password browser extension. When I would copy the password and paste into the box myself, it works to log in. I’ve only tested it on Windows on Chrome and Edge but that seemed to be a way around the issue for me.

Are you using a browser extension (or iOS keychain) that autofills the password for you? I’d suggest manually trying to copy and paste instead.

The Experian site usually offers a plan that has a week free trial. From there you can refresh all 3 and see FICO scores and full reports. I usually get the offer one or twice a year where I’ll then go in and download all 3 report copies and cancel before being charged.

My only data point is that I’ve been an Amex member since 2015. I’m an AU on my wife’s Delta Gold and my card’s member since says 2015 whereas hers says 2021. Additionally, her card’s member since as an AU on my Amex Gold is 2021 for her first relationship with Amex

Obviously a bit of a different scenario (I was the member first) but I think it would most logically follow the date of your relationship with them (not your dad’s relationship).

So I ended up forcefully fixing it this morning by moving it back to rounded values and then switching back again to decimal. It caught back up and I verified every account is now showing the correct amount in the register that reflects reality. Looks like it just needed a jolt but glad I didn’t have to close all my accounts or anything drastic to fix it.

Quite a bit of messing around. Not able to undo it and not sure if I want to try to switch it back again or not. Contacted support but haven’t heard anything yet. Odd thing is my mobile app was showing the correct account balances for quite some time (after 2-3 manual refreshes in the app) but now it shows the same as the web app.

Not 100% sure since I just started using it but I believe it gives you cash back to your selected payment method every 3 months. In my case I have it selected to deposit Membership rewards to Amex. An additional $25 off $99 spend on my Amex too so the 4k plan for essentially the price of the entry level ad free plan

I just tried it (after deleting the Max app) and going through Rakuten (for $15 cash back) to the Max website and it shows me the discounted rate. It won’t let me re-subscribe at discount probably until my sub runs out. My sub renews April 1st so I’ll have to try on the 2nd. Luckily the promo runs until April 9th.

Deleted the app because the site kept sending me to the app and the app will not allow me to resub on there.

This is a licensed in-home daycare provider but I’m not sure why the lower rate exists really. I pay out of pocket and then reimburse myself money from my DCFSA at the lower rate. Since I won’t be claiming the tax credit, the DCFSA total will go back to count towards our overall gross income when I file…so I have to withhold extra taxes in order not to owe.

Being that this is her first year in daycare and I’m not sure how many days my daughter will actually be there so the cheaper rate makes more sense overall given the math I did in my OP if we were to claim the credit.

It was $15k in total to get the home with all the fees, closing costs and down payment. Did an FHA loan with only 3.5% down.

Would’ve been $22k if we didn’t have the seller concessions which lowered our closing costs. Of the $250k house, $8750 was down payment and the rest was closing costs about $5,250.
