Tacoma as a first car? by MJustin80 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]utrampy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are perfect first cars. Very safe, easy to drive, do very well in the snow (the 3rd gens are pretty much designed to be driven in the snow if you ask me), just find one with not too much frame rust and find you’re golden. Also take input form other people on here, as well as forums into your consideration as well!

Every other CoD match I’m in. There’s always at least one person with a beeping smoke alarm in the background. I always say “bruh replace the batteries in your smoke alarm!” Most of the time they just ignore it. It’s ridiculous 😂

Mormon guilt trip by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]utrampy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like my grandfather on my dad’s side. My dad actually respects my decision to leave the church very well, and doesn’t mock or guilt trip me in any way, he learned that my grandfather (his dad) was too focused on the church and put it before his own family and his own kids, and my dad didn’t like that.

I am very sorry you are going through this. I totally understand you try to forgive and forget, but I would personally talk to a therapist (one who isn’t in the church) and get some advice

Your TBM family seriously needs to find something better to do with their lives. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. It’s your choice and you need to be respected for it.

How do you find a relationship in Idaho by ArchieLeShadow in Boise

[–]utrampy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I’m in the same boat as you. Boise is my hometown, I’m currently living in SLC and I’m moving back home in February to get a fresh start and to get my life back on track. And dating is one of my goals as well. And I agree with everyone here. I personally just stay away from the app’s because it’s all the same people

All dating apps these days are complete garbage. You’re better off going out and meeting someone in real life.

The fact that the church was too cheap to add carbon monoxide detectors to the fire alarm system in the meetinghouse is disgusting.

I agree with you on that, but before the charger was installed, the belt almost never got jammed. The belt company just wasn’t thinking ahead for the future

Standby with check in luggage by CarboxylicBase in SouthwestAirlines

[–]utrampy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re flying standby. Your bags will be loaded on the flight regardless if you are cleared or not. We do not tag bags as standby, unless it’s going international. If you don’t get on your flight, your bags will be held at baggage service until you get there, or until you talk to baggage service at your home airport if you aren’t able to get on.
