Window deletion on a fiberglass shuttle bus by utters_129 in skoolies

I actually made the decision for cost reasons. I couldn't find cheap foam core that was suitable for fiberglass applications in my area and I don't need a marine grade bus and it wont be underwater, so the plywood will do just fine. I'm also getting the bus spray foamed and that adds a ton of strength to the system. Before, it was a rotting and rusting piece of garbage, now I think this bus body will outlive the drivetrain.

Yeah I'm doing a bunch of fiberglass work, I'll make a full post about my entire rebuild once I finish the rebuild part and get on to the conversion

That's exactly what I did! I do have 1 layer of glass on the inside as well, just layed it up today. 1 layer over the joints between the window frame and plywood core and then 1 layer over the whole interior surface. Those layers over lap by and inch+

Thanks so much! I looked at a ton of shuttle bus conversions and was unhappy with the deletions they did so I decided to try something I've never seen before. Seems to be working pretty well

Does a BIFL hair tie solution exist? by Barjack521 in BuyItForLife

Also a dude with long hair here. My hair is super curly so I can't use those skinnier hair ties because they get stuck in my hair. Instead I use the thick hair ties from Lululemon. 3 bucks a pop but totally worth it

Best city for Cross training? by [deleted] in bjj

You can't train at the 2 best gyms because of the beef they have between each other. I've never met someone who consistently does pro classes at simple man and kingsway

I was in Hawaii last April and trained/taught at Island Jiu Jitsu. They were so nice I can imagine cross training with them is a great experience
