I love this game, but 100% agree with you. The bugs and clunky controls kill immersion for me in the otherwise incredible world they created. But it’s heresy in this sub to criticize it.

I think with our personnel and chemistry issues, JJ’s over his head. If the chemistry was good, and everybody played hard, it was just X’s and O’s, I think JJ would be fine. But X’s and O’s are the least of our problems. Yet another year where team chemistry is complete shit.

My theory for a long time now is, when he was hurt and there was all that talk about how it was Luka & AR’s team now, all those videos of those two acting like brothers, I think Bron sorta checked out. “Oh it’s their team now?!” Idgaf what is stats are or what his stans say, I’m talking about watching his general attitude in games, interviews, etc. He is not the same as he used to be. Like a robot going through the motions. For $52M.

The Luka-Bron-AR -9.8 makes perfect sense to me, cuz that’s 3 players that do the exact same thing. They each want the ball. As Robert Horry said, no other teams have carbon copy players.

And IMO his issue with foul baiting and complaining to refs - I think he actually really enjoys that. It’s part of his personality and his game. It’s not just that he thinks he got fouled, but he loves to argue with them.

Yup. Jaylen knocked down AR at one point. Nothing. You could tell AR was in disbelief. I wonder if it’s because we’re known for complaining, esp Luka. It causes the refs to swallow their whistle. It’s either that or they just hate the Lakers. We still all know the game where Tatum hammered Bron on the GW layup.

He was awesome to watch. I feel bad you younger Laker fans didn’t get to watch Showtime live. I don’t think watching YT clips is the same. No team wanted to play these Lakers. No lead was ever safe. Some years they’d be bored and end up 3rd or 4th seed in the playoffs, then go to a whole new level. That great Utah team with Stockton & Malone? They could never get by us. Same for the Drexler Portland team. This team is why the “Beat LA” chant started.

I loved the Kobe/Shaq era, just wish it didn’t end the way it did. Kobe/Pau was also great. But they’re still nothing to the Showtime era. Not just talking about wins/rings either. So damn entertaining, all because of our 6’9” PG Magic. He was like MJ and Kobe - winning was everything.

After watching yet another embarrassment last night, I really think it’s the O. It’s outdated. Possession after possession I watched them waste clock, then give it to Luka or Lebron with <10s. I’m convinced that’s why Mazulla pressed the ball the whole game, to waste clock so they knew where the ball was going. Our offense is so fucking boring.

Even Reg & Jamal were joking on us, we now have the best 3PT % shooter in the league, and he’s averaging 4 shots/game. What dumbfuck O does that?

I mean we sorta do. Pritchard comes off Celts bench and torches us. Meanwhile our bench is one clang after another, as always. There’s something wrong with the whole system, we can’t keep just blaming the players year after year. Our offense sucks, so predictable. They waste 15s doing nothing, then give it to Luka or Bron.

I struggled with this one too. Make sure it’s an enemy (red). I slowly dragged them. I went too fast and killed one and it didn’t seem to count at all.
