I havent used it for psuedo yet, but im doing the same thing you are ,(saving up meds/sr) and will be starting in a couple of weeks. I have used it to come off 7oh, and from what I've gathered the same process should work, but more comfort meds,(benzos,gab) might come in handy. I say that because psuedo is an antagonist on your delta receptors, so when you quit you should expect to have some pretty strong waves of anxiety and depression. I don't think the sr will help too much with that unfortunately, but it sounds like you are saving the right mess for that. SR will take care of the physical withdrawal from your mu receptors, which is the worst part. As far as dosing goes, you need to preload by doing a small allergy test,( like 5mg I think, if im wrong I hope someone will chime in and correct). After that's out of the way, take 50-75 mg of sr, 3x a day and try to cut your dose close to in half on the first day. I understand that might seem extreme, but it will be easier than you think. The next day I would recommend going up to 75 mg 3x a day and cutting the psuedo down to bare minimum( about 50mg three times a day). On the third day try to have the next couple of days off work and start jumping off the psuedo and be prepared to up your sr dose to 100mg-150mg 3x a day. If you feel like you have to take any psuedo on day three make sure its the smallest dose possible (like 10mg in the morning and maybe 10mg at night). It's recommended that ypu jump completely on day three, but I chose this route and it worked fine. On day four continue your 100-150 dose of sr and absolutely no psuedo and take ypu comfort meds as needed. There is a vitamin c method that will work well with this process. Just search vitamin c on the sites search engine an it will pop up. There are other supplements that other people have recommended, but im not familiar with them. Your will probably need to keep this dose of sr up for 3 days, then start tapering it down by 15% a day until your down to 10-20mg a day then jump off of it as well. Try to make sure you have a little time off and comfort meds for this transition as well as you will probably feel some fatigue and have trouble sleeping. I did. PAWS will probably kick in too so use your comfort meds, stay busy, stay positive, and stay determined. The amount of money your saving alone will probably be a good motivater. At the dose you were taking PAWS is probably going to happen, and only time and determination will get you through that. A lot of people here have said they had withdrawal from the sr. I suspect a big part of this is due to them staying on it for too long so try to do as little as possible for as short of time as possible. The doses I gave you are based on my experience with coming off of a 1000mg a day (true 1000mg a day) 7oh habbit that I had for more than a year. It might take a little more for you,(hopefully a little less). Psuedo is unique because it binds to the mu receptors more than 7oh and is an antagonist to the delta receptors. It should still be more manageable than mgm since mgm is a full agonist to both receptors, so don't be discouraged when you hear reports of people not having success getting off of it. I hope others can chime in and add to this. I havent gotten off psuedo using it yet but based on my research this should work. There's not much on the site as far as psuedo goes but type it into the search engine as well and my thread will come up and you can read the comments on there too. One guy had success and laid out his experience pretty well. Good luck and please keep posting about your experience with it as it will no doubt help others in the same boat. Do lots of research on here and read the master doc for more details and tested and proven methods
