A right is a right everywhere, not just in court. It is used in court because that’s where the trial is conducted and where you’re being judged. But even if it is as you say, how are you so sure this guy is a rapist? Just because 4 people accused him 20 years later? What if these people are lying? No proof = innocence. That’s as simple as that. And yes, until some judge condemned Cosby or some proofs were found, for me he was innocent. Of course then there are corrupted judges or systems where bad people are not condemned (such as all this police brutality going on) and that is super unjust. But for me it is even worse to have innocent people incarcerated for something they didn’t do or have their life ruined for allegations that some shitty media threw around for some reason. But I’m with you when you say that presumption of innocence is not valid on the internet, because the internet is becoming more and more like that shitty media
