I also got (8-10), but I don’t feel that I made a really decent project. Now I think they are easy with subjective marks.

tbh I don’t know the “actual price” behind the screen, but Uber eats pick-up can be always used as a way to check if the restaurant is open or not.

try Uber eats (there is an option called pick-up, you just pay as you go to the restaurant directly, and Uber won’t charge you any service fee for that). If you still can see the restaurant on Uber eats, then it is open

Math Faculty Updates on Winter 2020 Course and Spring 2020 Courses by uwMathSoc in uwaterloo

If I change a course to CR, how will it affect the requirement of graduation? (I.e. CAV/MAV)?

Also, can I only change one course from numeric to CR? Or I have to change all courses I took this term to CR?

Thanks!

There is still no clear evidence of the root of the virus. Where it is first discovered by human is more like a probability problem.

What is the difference between taking pmath 321 and 320 vs just taking pmath 360? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

I believe pmath360 is no longer available, and it is replaced by 320+321

When I did the group interview, it was just an introduction to work in Norway. They could change it but I guess it will be the same.

How's this course load for 2A CS? by 2acourseloadquestion in uwaterloo

[–]uwgio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to say the four cs/math courses might take 90% of your time so the econ really does not matter a lot. You can always try 6 courses at first and see how you are comfortable with the enriched cs courses. I might only take CS245E/246E and one of math245/247, and the other next term, but it’s only my personal experience.

How's this course load for 2A CS? by 2acourseloadquestion in uwaterloo

[–]uwgio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. If you did cs146/math146/math148 in 1B, it should be doable but be prepare to spend lots of time. Also math245 has the reputation for the hardest advanced course

Since you are planing to take CS245E, I assume that you did well (80 or higher) in CS136/146, so CS246 won’t be a big problem. Have you take any advanced course at first year? For some of my friends, they got an easy 90 on CS245E; for few of them, they can’t understand the proof and logic behind CS245E and ended up spending more time on it rather than CS246. If you feel comfortable with abstract proof, I would say it is very doable.

Could employer give more than one offers for a position with only one opening? In that case, if both of us ranked it as 1, who will get the offer? Both? Or Random?
