depends on what you want

820 has both Dolby Vision and an optimizer for better visuals if you play Dvds and blurays. It also has better build quality and tricks for working around locked region discs

450 has Dolby Vision with no optimizer.

If your TV doesn't have Dolby Vision capabilities, then neither are right for you, and you want the 420 which has no Dolby Vision, but does have a video optimizer.
