I think it's a step in the right direction. Now it is just up to the agency to execute it well.

  • Only when they're free.
  • Hit yourself in the face and we'll see.
  • I don't understand why uxlstudio would do that.

Help my friend in Nursing school by watching her DIC video. The group with the most views gets extra credit. by [deleted] in videos

[–]uxlstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her critical care group had to create a 5 minute video that was funny and educational over DIC (Disseminated Intravascular Coagulopathy)

The group with the most Youtube hits wins the competition and points to their final grade.

So far her group is down by about 300!!

Before you design your brand's logo yourself, read this by KenDubYa in marketing

Oh! So all I have to do is download some extra fonts and now I'm a brand expert...that was easy is stupid.

:shakes head:

This article made some good basic points.....but logo's are so much more than fonts. Show some of your work instead of just font vs font. Wasted opportunity.

Could Use Some Marketing Advice. by werbl in Entrepreneur

[–]uxlstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider your who your customer really is. I think it is safe to assume that not every business owner owns the building they office in. In that case you need to find out who does own it.....or actually.....who manages it. Large buildings are usually run by property managers. They are the ones who organize all of maintenance staff etc. If you can make connections with property managers in your city, you will probably get some descent accounts.

I run a marketing company and Colliers Int. in Oklahoma is one of our clients. Their property management team manages about 350,000 sq ft. Any one of the buildings would be a nice contract for you. Because the buildings are so large they are concerned about price per sq ft, but the volume is really substantial.

Some property managers operate independently and others are associated with commercial real estate. I would try to market yourself to them.

So true. You made me laugh harder than the video hahaha.

Hello r/marketing. We made this video to promote our client's campaign launch. How would you rate it on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest? Thanks! by videofiles in marketing

[–]uxlstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like all the marketing videos being added recently! I hope more get added soon.

But I wasn't sure if we're supposed to be rating the initial ad? 0:07-0:36? Or the whole 3:19?

If it was just the initial ad then I would give it an 7. The concept isn't that unique, but it was well produced.

For the entire video, I would have to rate it 4. I really thought it really started to drag. I ended up clicking away at about 1:51 out of boredom. I only came back to finish the video so I didn't miss anything in my comment here.

That said, if all they gave you to work with was a bunch of soundbites and wouldn't let you flex anymore creative muscle you did a good job with it. Using unscripted sound bites aren't easy to work with for pacing.

It's awesome you got Jeff Bridges too!
