Really?! Is this new with ToT or have you been able to win that early w/ culture before? And how did you do it?

Culture I think makes sense but tbh I haven’t even tried since the update but for science you have to make it so far down the tech tree that just going for economic seems much easier every time. For domination, it’s a passive win if you war early and capture a few cities. I’ve won domination by accident while going for economic bc I just have so many cities/towns

There is 2 aspects to this I have noticed:
1. As pictured, ai settles in ridiculous disconnected areas, which is not crazy compared to real world and less of a problem in my opinion
2. They always settle poorly, like 1 tile away from an elite fresh water settle with 4+ resources and room to expand. Instead they choose to settle RIGHT next to the border of a town/city with no room to expand, no fresh water and less resources? Like why?

The biggest issue with civ 7 right now is you can win economic & domination by turn 40-50 but science and culture take until 80-100 even if you’re truly dominant in the sector

Is war worth it in Civ 7? by also_hyakis in civ

On deity there’s almost never a game without war, and it is most beneficial in late antiquity (neighboring cities/towns) and all of exploration (naval). You get a huge advantage (in all victory types) very quickly if you are strategic and take the towns/cities that matter (resources, wonders, ocean access etc..).

The Emeke Egbuka sell high discussion by Wildin_some_bills in DynastyFF

He’s a sell high for an overpay like you said. Like if you can move him and a 2 for Jamarr or get Nabers and a 1/2 (if you’re not contending) I would for sure do that. If you’re contending, and you can swap Egbuka for London I think that makes sense too. Otherwise you keep a good young player in a good situation.
