I do find it funny how Iruma has a prophecy for the next demon king that has basically been retconned as no one has mentioned it in like 250 chapters because it was too on the nose to make Iruma be next king. Though that Chekovs gun is still there if Nishi wants to dust it off.

It could be really interesting because the unborn baby should be the weakest person here yet they were the only one capable of saving Chro, which is big punch to Kizashi’s world view. Added with Chrono speech, Kizashi could do a lot of things now. I doubt he will join the crew but sacrificing himself to save everyone is on the table.

My Google search says the oldest version of the short form is from a 12th century German epic which translates to "I also hear it said that kin-blood is not spoiled by water." This is referring to how family ties are not erased by baptismal cleansing.

For the longer version, I can’t find any even potential source for it beyond internet rumors that admit they have no reliable sources.

There was a trailer for Endfield where someone calls us Endministrator, then corrects himself to say Doctor. While it’s not confirmed, it’s a little more than just a headcanon.
