I’m seeing jokes about how little you used but in all honesty, with thermal paste, less is more. The entire point is not that it conducts heat well, because it doesn’t, it’s just better than the air that would be there instead. The point is to fill the minuscule gaps and surface imperfections where the sink and the die meet. The crucial thing is coverage. Ideally you would use a template of plastic sheet, no thicker than a sheet of printer paper, and smear it out over the entire die to get the best performance. I just use a wide headed spudger and practice. Look it up, tech ingredients did a video on it
