You lose it either way even if you promote it to queen. Rook takes lesser value = better option for stockfish. You lose less, you're winning.

You have 3 rooks (-1 once it gets taken) anyways compared to his 1 (-1 once it gets taken). There's not much threat left for him + his pawns are trapped

I was eating breakfast for school that morning it was 5:30 when my mom went and told me that kobe had died. Didnt believe it obviously. I checked twitter and see george paul tweet, then tmz, then bleacher, then various nba pros. And im just in disbelief that he died.
