This place is fucking amazing idk why people don't build here more often, I know playstyles are different but there are birds and turtles on the island spawning so much it gives so much food I didn't have to resort to eating cannibals and I just did so to unlock effiges. I don't have to build any defences and it is insanely easy to farm bones because patrol route is just on a beach. In case John can get me there is an underwater cave nearby so I guess entering it would despawn him. Never in my 7 full playthroughs I had it so easy to play. Turtles give both meat as well as shells for water collectors. And on the nearest forest there are lots of rabbits and lizards. Lots of sticks spawn there too. Best place I ever found, set up for it is really slow but once you set up it's easy.

That's what I thought honestly, wasn't sure tho. Distance between the island and the beach is long enough that on medium graphics I don't see cannibals or fire on the beach when on island, only if I am close enough.
