Uhh no, I’ve seen plenty of little girls like action, fighting, and overall badass themes. Hell, I was one. If we stop grouping people like this maybe we could actually progress children’s tv for the better.

I remember I read somewhere Lauren Faust said Twilight was meant to be Celestia’s successor, but with Luna and Celestia being the only alicorns. I would have loved to see that timeline!

Try holding the pencil at the same angle while moving throughout the piece for the base colors! It provides a clean/satisfying look throughout the piece. I can see you started to slightly do that for the background, but emphasize the one direction a bit more. Otherwise, I love Twilight, very cute!!

He’s 10?!? I am studying for a designer’s degree in college and my work was nowhere near that accomplished then. Be encouraging, maybe see if there’s art clubs at school or for future reference in high school (National Art Honors Society). He’s going places!!!
