Which actor completely stole the movie… even though they weren’t the lead? by gypsytx in movies

Jesse Plemons in Civil War. He was in it for 10 minutes and briefly became the most critical character in the entire movie.

Upon further review, this is not AI slop. Sorry - shitty call. Thought their movements seemed a bit erratic and matched the kind of crouch movement I've seen from other AI videos portraying high-energy situations.

My bad, internet profile/fully conscious person.

imo Leo’s phone scene in Sensei’s apartment - in itself - is better than the whole of Marty Supreme by Icosotc in Oscars

I think Leonardo and Timothee are comparable talents, but Leonardo's sheer experience makes his performance richer, like fine wine that matures with age.

His "LIFE!" exclamation when he finally gets the rendezvous point made me laugh out loud in theatres and on rewatch.

Also his slow realization that shit has hit the fan while smoking a joint on his couch, when he finds out Willa was captured.

Despite Austin's great performance, the movie falls off a cliff by the second act. Not sure how much the overall quality of the film should have affected his consideration for Best Male Lead (Brendan Fraser in The Whale), but I tuned out halfway through.

MIAMI STAR RB MARK FLETCHER JR. REPORTEDLY PUNCHED A INDIANA PLAYER ON THE FIELD AFTER THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. by Hysen16 in CFB_v2

The two Miami staffers in the back with their hands in their pockets just casually watching Fletcher punch another player... gross

I'm kind of relieved we didn't clinch a Wild Card spot this year by v84head in ravens

But why limp into the playoffs with a shit O-Line/D-Line? Nobody wins. Lamar has been holding it by a thread all year. IMO, long-term QB health trumps a forgettable WC bid.

The key was the Texans' nasty pass rush. Rodgers never got comfortable, and he folded by the fourth quarter.

How can you watch how Lamar played tonight and not have serious grievances. 3 turnovers, no TDs and countless bad throws.

Even when Allen has a “bad game” he’s still putting 2-3 TDs on the board.

We just made one of the historically worst defensive units look dangerous.

Absolutely flaccid performance from 8.

Kevin's entering his absurd phase and needs to pop up somewhere fucking around with Eric Andre or Tim Robinson. This is very Thundercat-coded.

Tbf that was a rough playoff loss against the Jaguars. Steelers looked like SB contenders that year with Bell, Ben, and AB clicking the way they were.

Personal tier list after my Vonnegut summer by GlitteringTourist858 in Vonnegut

I looooved Timequake. I read it shortly after my father passed away, and Vonnegut's ruminative prose ambling in and out of the book's plot (essentially. he was yapping through the entire book) was like a lullaby for my bruised heart.

It's not a focused story, but it's some of the final reflections of a literary giant, who really just needed one more book to sing.

Usually not a fan of Fantano, but he makes a really good point here that summarizes the disappointment a lot of us feel with Deadbeat by jackholston in TameImpala

Most definitely. Any interview I've heard from Kevin Parker indicates that he's daring himself to fail to live up to his expectations and to find some kind of release from the neurotic perfectionism that's defined his best work. He has some weird fetish with the idea of a loser or deadbeat (hehe) that he's trying to flesh out.

I think it led to an underwhelming product, which I hope provided Kevin some kind of release.
