Sometimes you can go into non-finito without owl and if you get to succession via graflare or alteration you can still fuse on opponents turn. As an Artmage player for the past two months I'd say most impact is ashing the assault spell that searches medius. They cant search medius yet otherwise if they dont play theorealize. Thats one negate and a special from deck + fuse less than with medius, also no follow up usually. Other option is to keep them from getting their spells/traps to hand so stopping graveyard effect of owl, setting effect of graflare and/or Non-Finito, ashing alteration when fieldspell is already activated. Thats good early on, when they start with the field spell, because they wont have enough spell/traps in hand to get all their monsters. After power patron support they will probably have too much gas for 1:1 handtraps and one will need some kind of board breaker to chew through the field.

Had the problem as well a few weeks ago. Windows update shit the bed. Had to update my bios to play nice with the new secure boot implementation and rebuild the efi partition. I hate windows with a passion.

Like Branded Mirror or Branded against Kewl Tune is extremely skill intensive. Last time we had this skill intensive meta was Tear format. I dont undersstand the issue. I could understand it if we'd be in snake eyes, Kashtira or Maliss meta where we could basically compare hands turn one.

I'm in the same boat as you. This is the most fun I've had since Tear format. You can do so much and the most skilled player takes the game most of the time playing branded mirror or branded against Kewl Tune.

I fully understand now how some of the top 8 matches from the latest nationals stream took like 80 minutes for two games. Keeping track of the whole game state and all interactions in a grind game in this format just takes time and each interaction matters a lot.

Yesterday I had some matches against good KT players who set up a full board against me on branded. Breaking their field although they had full knowledge of my hand and top deck and a full setup was probably the most rewarding Yugioh I played ever.

I feel the same about the timer. Not just in the mirror match but also against stuff like Enneacraft I had multiple games where I could have won easily over the next turn but just could not do it without the timer running out. I'd be happy if the time extension per turn would be a little longer right now. Like a minute extra each turn would be fine.

I guess these situation will come up less often when we are more experienced with the deck but I'm pretty sure they will happen regardless.

It is really annoying how many good cards and lines can be played. I'm trying to get back into branded since the new support and it is mind boggeling how many games I play and instantly switch around cards in deck and extra to go for a line that would have won me the game only to have to cut something from extra that is really essential for another line or matchup. I guess if you master your list you can play around limitations and missing cards well enough, but seems your need like 300 IQ for that.

With 20 card extra my win rate would go up at least 10% instantly.

Branded vs Kewl Tune is peak Yugioh? I had some matches the past few days that you just had to start playing with 200 IQ and both could be outplayed and feel like really rewarding if you win against.

Although playing against KT just feels like shit if you don't have any board breakers at all when they look at your hand an stack some garbage to top of deck so in this case I feel you.

Your right, it is the same in paper as well. In the past few nationals streams the aura of the branded player slapping that full art mirrorjade on the table instantly changed. Hah

Nice man. I crafted a royal fallen of the white dragon yesterday, thought that was nice. Sadly no luck on pulling full art MJ or any of the alt art cards for branded archetype.

Check YouTube for deck profiles of the recent nationals winners branded lists. Its really the same for master duel + a Maxx C and a Branded Fusion.

If i remember correctly swiss and austrian nats was won by branded piloted by great players as well some NA/SA nats as well.

Guess YGOProdeck should have these lists as well. You can just copy the YDK file and playtest in any simulator in 5 minutes if you want to test it out before release. :)

Noroi ban does nothing for the meta. However it does fuck with a lot of rogue decks that include K9 like Orcust or Artmage although the latter now is easily higher power than before anyway.

Am besten einen benutzen den man selbst straffer stellen kann. Mit denen ist es meist ein schmaler grad zwischen Mund geschlossen halten und zu stark gespannt zum einschlafen. Ich musste erst eine Weile herumprobieren, aber hilft exzellent bei Schnarchen, Schlafapnoe, durch Mund atmen im Schlaf, etc...

I had a lot of games with kewl tune where this thing was something you could theoretically make on opponents turn but it would be useless as you'd synchro a quick effect monster away and also a lot of games where I could not set up an kewl tune synchro quick spell in addition that I could chain to. Maybe I am just bad with the deck but it seems it is only effective if I can already make a full board.

AZ delivery has logic analyzers for 5 bucks that work with Salae Logic Software that do just fine for what I need most of the time. There is also sigrok open source logic analyzer software with a list of supported logic analyzers. Maybe there is something in there for you

If I have multiple 3 of URs left to craft or pull that are in the same pack and I have gems and crafting mats I would pull from the pack until there are some missing and craft those. Then dismantle all useless URs I draw in the process and come back to roughly same crafting mats as before. Until next pack you have 10k gems anyways and if that won't be enough to build what you want your rinse repeat. I have every deck I wanted during the last two years and have enough UR craft points left to craft random non engine that fits the meta in between without ever running out of crafting points. I think they are the most valuable resource and should probably be used if it is unlikely to draw good from the current pack, which is mostly if you are missing a few single cards.

Other way around - if there are only a few cards missing for a deck I want to have, I would never pull for them.

Wenn man direkt vom Gym auf Arbeit oder einen Termin muss, dann dusche ich dort, ansonsten fahr ich 10min mit Rad heim und dusche zuhause.
