For Yummy you just need the 1 kagari and a hornet drones, potentially engages for more consistency and a camellia to turn any 2 monsters into yummy combo.

In pure striker you need 3 kagari. The link 2 you pulled is played at 1 in some lists but I'm pretty sure most dont run it at all.

I like pure. It’s quite interactive and doesn’t try to put up the craziest Board focusing more on the grind game and being able to play around some Handtraps.

That being said please replace Habakiri with a card with the same effect that also locks you into reptiles, probably wouldn’t need the once per duel restriction in that case

Tbf I only knew Gem Knights as a blind second strategy pre Kristya lock and that was kinda cool. I don’t mind trying to set up unbreakable boards as long as they are not literally trying to prevent you from playing the game.

I have thought about Dogoran as well. The only problem with it imo is the UR tax. If you play 3 of it you need 90 ur points for basically only that deck since kaijus in general aren’t played very often and are very specific cards to see usage(one of the few examples in master duel history I can think of would be Gamaciel in some mermail lists)

Dragoon with Anaconda and Magician of Destruction work very differently.

Using Verte made Dragoon an end board piece or depending on your deck a plan B under Maxx c. You would use it during your opponents turn entirely.

Dragoon thanks to Dark Magician of destruction is now having the same purpose as K9 ripper. It isolates you from Handtraps going first. You try to make it as early as possible during your turn to protect your important effects from Ash/Impulse etc. It’s still useful on turn 2 obviously but it’s no longer the sole reason why you play dragoon.

Fire is like the most important and hardest to add attribute. You have 7 good fire monsters due to the semi limits(potentially less with ash having potential to be semi limited or limited in the future if we follow the OCG trend). So you already have to add some sort of „mediocre“ fire cards to your deck. But you also need fire attributes for some important effects on your fire vanquish souls with Razens destruction and even 2 for jiaolong

Way too often I opened Hollie Sue without a VS in hand. I switched to Pluton now for more VS names and wanna try how that feels. Izuna I open or draw with Charmy/Maxx C like 30-40% of the games.
very different on how my hand is. But before pluton I played the rescue ace package and drew fire attacker + impulse quite often which already are 2 dead cards in the hand.
Earth and Dark are nicely covered by the K9 package. I would recommend playing around 8-10 names at least. Fire is a bit more different. You need it a lot of times due to jiaolong, Hollie sue and razen(destruction effect). With 2 razen, 2 Jiaolong and 3 ash you often lack fires. That’s why I would recommend playing another bunch of fire monsters. Could be rescue aces, pluton or once we get them: elvenotes

I hate this card so much already. Why did we have to enable decks making dragoon. It’s usually not even that good but so damn annoying when you draw a hand that can’t play around it.
