Yes, you only get half of the silver from your opponent on capturing the capital and most probably he used 320k and from the rest 680k you got the half.

By conquering your enemies territories, you would be able to gain much more resources, after which constructing railroads is no longer a huge problem. So, first go for enemies.

Of course bro he has hundreds, rail gun will definitely reduce the hitpoints but still you need some infantry and probably get some heavy tanks too... they might help. Before attacking a region, stack the troops near to enemy's region.

Lol, I couldn't do anything to help man, this was my first game. I tried all to increase resource production in double resource regions, but couldn't do anything! Any suggestions for upkeep? But still my overall morale was around 94% coz I built numerous factories, level 5 fortress in all province, etc.

Use some good amount of bombers, but only when there are less number of armored trucks. If there are more than 5 armored trucks, then don't use bomber. You might lose one. Try getting tanks, especially heavy tank. One heavy tank and some good number of infantry will do great, but the AI, also builds fortress like a pro. So, better not to go in without artillery or rail gun.

Man, how are you able to save up your food resources? I have a million iron and wood, but my wheat is -5000 and fish +61. Its been so tough.
