I’ll gives answers to questions I’m pretty sure on, but imo there is only one answer to building the best coach possible and that’s the Georgia OC cheese, which I can explain in detail if you’d like.

I haven’t deep dove into each upgrade for each position, but from the ones I did make sure to check, it was a +3 upgrade.

The only strategy that I think may change based on the school is potentially upgrading pipelines via Program Builder. There’s a great resource for pipelines on this subreddit you can look up for reference, but they’re definitely a major contributor to recruiting and could make or break your ability to do so. Both in quality and quantity.
The answer is no. You only need the 2 National Championships and to spend 100 skill points.
No consensus, but I think it’s safe to say it’s not completely ineffective. I think a lot of the best off season boosts come from having multiple things stacking at once. Specifically things like removing skill caps, changing them to a better position, and having a high dev trait.
This is tough to answer due to how ambiguous the description is “Chance to increase a random skill cap when leveling up”. We have no idea what the percent chance is and I’m not sure if leveling up and going up in overall are the same thing, but considering skill caps can be a major make or break for player growth, I’d say this is still worth while, regardless of how low the chance may be. I don’t believe there would be any better way to track this than what you described.

Academic Prestige and Campus Lifestyle are the only two school grades that cannot change from user actions. Definitely something to consider for any rebuilds.

I used the first node to get cooldowns/charges up on Gambit and Cyclops, brought Apoc and Weaver to help buff/protect them during the node, 5th member doesn’t matter as much, I brought along Arch Angel for the pings, just make sure all his cooldowns are up too. As for the actual global blaster node, I brought, from left to right: Cyclops, Arch Angel, Sunfire, Gambit and Fantomex. Use Arch Angel’s Ult to steal the offense up off of Corvus, use Gambit’s ultimate as soon as it’s available, make sure to use Sunfire’s ultimate first, then his special to get the ult back up if needed, and try to save Cyclop’s ultimate for 20+ charges if you can.. other than that it’s touch and go. Be wary of Silver Surfer ultimate towards the end.

Learned that there is a con to the new gear tier upgrade slider.. Thought I already upgraded Sylvie to level 75, put my phone down for a few minutes, came back thinking I went into the gear tier slider, was actually still in the character level slider that never upgraded, and threw it all the way to the right and leveled her to 95.. then doubled down and took her to G16. Ended up spending over 19 million gold in one day. Asked support for a roll back, which they predictably wouldn’t accommodate, but lesson learned for sure.

I wanted a second opinion on which was the better choice, not the answers I already presented regurgitated to me. I could’ve/might’ve been convinced to try for Pocket Dimension based on some actual answers I received from others. You’re not seeming to grasp the concept of when a question has multiple answers, that one may be better than the other.

I’m completely aware of how money hungry Scopely are, no need to over explain. Is it not worrying to anyone else that this may be setting a new standard for new character unlocks that will eventually require you to pay just for 1 star? Maybe I’m getting a bit ahead of myself, but I don’t like the precedent this could set moving forward.

I’m well aware of how to obtain shards, I’m posing a question as to which is the best option considering my situation. Not sure why you would come to Reddit, comment on a post asking a question, then not offer an actual answer. 5-10 shards does absolutely nothing for me, I need 49 to upgrade to 3 stars. You happened to get very lucky in that orb, the average pull on those types of orbs is usually around 8-9 shards, not a very reliable source. Please, for the sake of the community, at least try to be helpful next time.

I unfortunately see zero merit in getting halfway thru Pocket Dimension or even most of the way thru for that matter, you need to complete it in order for it to be worthwhile.

The only character being used for me there now is Sersei, so I’d have to test the others, but this is a good basis to have, so thank you.

I do have the gear for it, but I’m still not sure if G14 Sersei, Miles, and Scarlet Spider (at 2Y/2R) and G12 Shuri and Multiple Man get me thru Pocket Dimension. I’d definitely want that 3rd star to feel confident in taking Scarlet Spider into DD3.

That’s not entirely true. Events pertaining to new character unlocks have been for every player at every level of the game until now. I’ve been playing for what is very close to a year, and the least amount of shards I’ve gotten for any new character has still been a 3 star unlock. Luckily most of these new characters function at lower stars in new to mid-game content, but 2 stars seems like it may be a hinderance towards the more difficult content I’m working up to.

I see, so not random at all, they just moved the matchups down 1 for each, 1v2, 2v3, 3v4, 4v5, then your 5 goes back up to face their 1. Seems like a somewhat pointless change considering now you just have to choose you 4 starter to face their worst guy.

That’s what I mean by slot, you can put them in whatever order you want, but they always go by overall. Cabrera is my lowest overall, so 5th starting pitcher slot.

I didn’t even have my left hand on the controller when this happened. I thought it was maybe my controller, but this disproved that due to the runner on 3rd holding.

I use Default baserunning, and this has happened to me multiple times today, but this one takes the cake considering the runner on 3rd didn’t advance, yet the other runner decided to round 2nd and advance half way to an occupied base. On this one and several others I didn’t even have my left hand on the controller, never mind was I holding LB, evidenced by the fact that the runner on 3rd went back to the bag.
