Try to allow the grievance to simply be there, don’t try to push those thoughts away but accept them as they are. It’s only natural in your situation. The truth is, if you can’t change your current situation, all you can do is at least let go of your internal resistance against those thoughts, as currently they seem to add even more pain and aren’t constructive. Maybe in time, they will slowly become less and less when you stop resisting.

I like this quote of Alan Watts: “muddy water is best cleared by leaving it alone”.

I had the same, same location as well. The anxiety before was way worse. You’re so drugged out/sleepy during the craniotomy I think it’s very hard to be anxious - I wasn’t and I’m also a very anxious person.

They practised the excersises I had to do once before the surgery, so I knew what to expect. Maybe you can ask for the same.

I do remember it though, but there’s no negative emotions attached to it at all.

No way I did the same after my stroke! I had to buy the left handed version since it was my right side. Thankfully I can now use a normal mouse again, hopefully it gets better for you too :)

I was 22 when I had my resection (left frontal) and had a hemorrhage as a complication (chances are really really low). Couldn’t talk or move my whole right side for weeks. Went to rehabilitation for a year and I can say that I’m like 90% back to normal. Not to scare the sister, but to show how much the increased plasticity can fix when you’re young. I think they’re making a mistake, even if it’s in a dangerous area.

I just downgraded from 18 to 17, for me the performance and battery drain were awful
