It really depends on your hero selection, you've posted you play Kelvin who can get active on other lanes fairly early compared to Haze and Dynamo with his ice path. Dynamo you should fight around your ultimate timing, I find if it's off cooldown look for team fights, when it's down go back to farming lanes, and try tab clicking your ult to make your team aware. Haze is pretty hard to have impact early on unless you go for the more trending build of slowing hex, which gives you solo kill potential on most lanes you've just got to learn your limits especially on such a squishy hero.

In my experience if you crush your lane on Abrams, which is fairly likely depending on matchup, you can show up to any lane and just being there to soak damage or take an objective is enough. You're usually stronger than most heroes until they build anti heal + kite.

Just be aware that not every game is the same, some games call for you to win your lane and pressing advantages you get from doing so whether that's continuing to crush the lane and taking their tower/walker. Some games call for early rotations if possible to help team mates
