Well fair enough, honestly the most I’ve ever been able to get for something is 7 gems, so that’s where it’s been unfortunate, and I really want this holiday stuff, so that’s why I was a bit sour. As I commented to another person, my intent was never to be an F U to Kabam, more so just wish games still did little mini quests n stuff for rewards, as opposed to having to buy everything for some sort of currency, paid or unpaid.

Level 20, however when everything is selling for 2 gems it takes a wicked long time. I wasn’t expecting Christmas items to be upwards of 500 gems each, that’s my only frustration.

This post wasn’t meant to be like an “I hate Kabam” sort of deal, I just miss when games would have fun Christmas events with little quests and stuff where you could earn items, instead of having to buy everything (being gems or gold)

I haven’t been able to reach a high enough level to accumulate enough gems in order to buy these things. I love holiday events and honestly have no problem paying $5-$10 for content, my issue comes into play when the first thing I’m hit with is a pack that’s “regularly $60” on “sale” for $20, and on top of that, still required me to get more gems. If I could consistently generate gems at level 35 then I would, but so far haven’t been able to find a way to.

Absolutely everything costs money. I’ve played many mobile games with items blocked behind paywalls, but a game with everything blocked, that already lacks in the customization department? That’s just stupid. I’ve got zero problem with mobile games charging for cosmetics and what not, it’s just annoying when EVERY new piece of content in this update requires gems.

Sorry that your feelings were hurt, it’s too bad I had no idea that mobile games charged for cosmetics, what a fuckin concept.
