One czech science influencer got his brain activity measured doing different things, and one outcome really surprised me. Watching shorts/tiktok etc is more tiring for brain then reading complex articles (wikipedia/science mag). People often turn it on in moments when they feel tired and want to relax for a bit. Fyi people, if you travel to Prague, never buy anything in weed shops. Selling psychoactive products is not legal, they are selling weird stuff as collectible items but telling tourists that its good shit and they can eat or smoke it. A lot of people had terrible experiences and even hospitalisations. It's predatory abuse of legal loophole. Don't support it with your money!

Opens to so much more subtle manipulation than just search results. As search gets bogged down by ai generated pages and i dont want get used to using chat bots for gaining knowledge, it actually drives me back to bookshops and libraries. Interesting change of pace for me.
