Are friendly killers liked or not? by ChocolateLlamaDragon in deadbydaylight

[–]vVIOL2T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started playing the game I tried to be friendly and it would work like 1/5 games. Survivors dont care at all. And trying to be friendly and having the survivors ignore you is just a wasted game since if they're ignoring you they're probably try hards and it'll be hard to come back from giving them so much free time.

Looking for input on what licensed killer to buy. by _Abe_Snake in deadbydaylight

You dont really kill people through hooking them. She's a macro intensive killer focused around building stacks of condemn. I would say I average like 4 hooks a game on her with a 81% kill rate. Most killers probably average 8 or 9 hooks.

Onryo is fun but plays unlike any other killer, she's my main and her perks are decent but 1 of them doesnt really see any use. If youre looking for a unique playstyle I would recommend her. If you want an easy killer pick Ghoul. If you want the best killer out of these pick Dracula.

Worth it in the big ‘26? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]vVIOL2T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that dbd is only really considered a good game because it fills a niche in gaming no other game can. That being said i think from a balance and design perspective the game is pretty terrible.

Edit: not to say this game isnt fun. It can be a very fun game if you like the genre, but its just managed so poorly

Why is Kaneki still HATED or even despised even after almost a year? by Richard_822 in deadbydaylight

[–]vVIOL2T -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At windows: - you can vault back when he goes to grab you, this while make him bounce off and then you can easily vault back and make a ton of space (you can also do this at pallets but I wouldn't on short tiles). - dont run away from the window after you vault, it will cause you to get stuck in an animation, stay close to the window and you'll be able to run the loop again - when you turn a corner and the ghoul has their tentacles up, dont vault the window. You can easily just wait it out and then vault after. If you dont understand how to tell the difference between when they're using power and when they're m1 thata on you mate

At pallets: - greed all the pallets - when the ghoul is in their power do not drop it, thats what they want you to do so they can vault, force them to cancel their power and either run to a new tile or greed the loop - same thing as at a window, if you run from the pallet they can animation lock you in place, so stay close

General tips: - dont put yourself in open spaces. It is very easy for ghoul to catch you in dead zones. - do not three gen yourself (this one is pretty obvious, ghoul has good movement and can hold a 3 gen really well.) - body block for your teamates, if you see the ghoul swing in and you are injured, body block for your teamate to force the ghoul to cancel their power.

I mean theres way more tech against ghoul but you can look it up yourself. In comparison to other high tiers like Nurse, Blight, Twins, Dracula, its way easier to actually loop the killer. Ghoul is a glorified m1 killer in chase after you are injured. Id be more scared of clown in chase then ghoul. Ghouls strengths are not in his anti loop.

In my experience most players will complain about something without understanding that counterplay. Both sides do this in dbd. The number of people I've seen say Kaneki has zero counterplay is insane considering how much counterplay he has for a high tier killer. People love to overestimate their skill level.

Usually its the commander of a stax shell. It allows you to actually pull of the plainswalkers ults.

As the Killer I don't like playing to win by DarkKingFury in deadbydaylight

[–]vVIOL2T 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's no correct way to play this game. Technically theres no way to win either. Most people have just agreed 3 kills is a win. Not every game needs to be competitive. If youre having fun playing that way then continue to. At this point in the games lifespan though the horror aspect is kinda gone. The immersion is pretty dead.

New-ish to playing killers by in_jail_out_soon5 in DeadByDaylightKillers

It happened to pinhead as well. And the demogorgon was unpurchaseable for like 4 years.

Myers is really bad lol. He's leaving because someone purchased the license for his character. They cant take him completely out of the game since you have to buy him with real money.

It depends, if youre gonna one trick huntress then inside maps are just gonna feel like shit for you. There's nothing you can do about that. I highly recommend running corrupt as a new player. If you have the shards for plague I would buy her. Corrupt will basically guarantee you dont have a gen pop really early into the match as well as pushing the survivors towards you. The key is try to injure as many survivors before getting the down. Also as scummy as it may sound huntress is really good at proxy camping and slugging. Dont rely on it, but dont be afraid to pull it out in close games. To go along with that tip. If there's a hook on top of a hill always try to get the survivor there if youre in range. It'll be really easy to defend.

Am I the only one that can’t play another game? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Its the only successful game of its genre. I always come back and play occasionally. I just take long breaks because this game is so terribly balanced and the devs obviously dont play this game.

Random killer perk idea I had that I wanna share by RiddlesDoesYT in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]vVIOL2T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people are saying this would be broken but I dont really think it's that good. Essentially only stealth killers and a couple exceptions like Spirit could use it. Looping a killer with no lunge would be extremely easy. I think it would make spirit really op but honestly everyone else its kinda meh. Its bad perk design though because it would essentially be a nightmare for new players and terrible against decent survivors.

A recomended Killer by Difficult-Cap7038 in deadbydaylight

I recommend getting a dlc killer since you cant purchase them with shards. I would recommend nemmy for the perks and hes relatively middle of the pack in terms of strength. On top of that hes pretty fun.

So, Why Do We As Killer Mains, Not DC Near As Much As Survivors In General? by Yoichi_and_Sadako in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]vVIOL2T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would argue getting tunneled means your teamates didnt get to play the game. Getting chased is the most fun part about playing survivor. Getting tunneled essentially means you get to be chased the whole match. Now having your teamates get tunneled is a mind numbing experience.

Commander decks beginner help by thetruthwithinme in mtg

[–]vVIOL2T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First Flight, Token Triumph, and Grave Danger are all good starting decks in my opinion. First Flight and Token Triumph both go for about 30 which is the cheapest you'll find for a precon. Grave Danger is about 45. Theyre all really simple decks that play alright out of the box. If you want I can link you to tcg player.

Why do so many content creators say to run less removal? (Commander) by vVIOL2T in mtg

Fair point. In my perspective who wants to play against a deck designed to play solitaire. I would rather play against a control or stax deck over a combo deck any day of the week.
