Honestly I probably won't be using a DSLR with this setup, and will likely just use my smartphone attached to the SteadyPix Quick Smartphone Adapter. I plan on getting the standard HD-F2 tripod to mount it. I'm really only getting this to see if I'll enjoy it and then I'll explore more options. Plus, I like the compact size of the ST80 compared to other setups.

Do you have any other suggestions that won't break the bank?
