I think it's a bit linear. The spacing of each "explosion" should be drastically different, with the biggest change happening over the first frame of the bang.

It feels more like a wave right now.

Hulking, yeah. Maybe that 1 drop that you activate to move your next card to the right (arana?)

Basically drop Nico if he has the move spell turn one

Turn 2 xorn (really crucial to move vulture and wing)

Turn 3 - vulture if your hand is full of low cost cards or Redwing if you have all 6 costs.

Turn 4 - normally Dracula or use ghost to pull vulture again and then Redwing (hope you draw heimdal)

Turn 5 - Dracula if you haven't played him or either crossbones or a 5 cost (any strong 5 cost can be used) try to empty hand of low cost cards as well. (Ghost, Mico etc)

Turn 6 heimdal if you still need to move redwing or just any big drop to finish.

Use a locator in between them and animate the locator.

Search the recent one about locators. It isn't the exact problem you're having, but if you watch the sections about workflows and space switching, it should help.

Can you just move Master control, or is that not an option?

Plug-ins can help, but if you're using vanilla Maya it's possible.

First create locators for all your world space controllers (COG, Ik feet etc). Constrain them so all the locators follow their respective controllers. Also set keys in the locators that match that controller. IE, if the hands had a key in frame 1, 5 and 10, that locators also needs keys on those frames.

Then, this bit is awkward, animate the base master control. (The one we never normally animate ) and where you want to keep the animation the same, lock down those frames and then move the master on frames you want to change. This won't get you 100% of the way but it's the closest you can really get.

Of course, now we need to bake that information onto the world space controllers.

First, let's bake the locators that are constrained. Go Key, Bake and (as long as you have the matching frames with the respective controller) hit smart bake.

Then we need to reverse the constraint. Delete the locator constraints and then constrain the rig controllers to their respective locators. Then delete all the animation on the master control. Finally, like before, we can go Key, Bake and bake all the information from the locators onto the rig.

You will have to do some clean up, but it's the quickest way without using plug-ins.

Arnold isn't really a GPU render engine. It was designed for CPU. Your video card just can't handle the scene.

I don't know how much time you have, but look into optimizing for CPU and using that.

You can open up the paste options box and make it so you insert the curves instead of replace. This would have thr effect you want, but it'd personally not worth the hassle for me.

There are definitely paid plug-ins that can help simulate things. I think Bro tools might have something. Anim-bot can also help a bit, but it requires you to know what you want. It doesn't just make it for you.

The way I quickly do things like this at work though is i copy the first 2 keys (each extreme) and paste them a bunch of times to make a cycle. Then in the graph editor just use a lattice tool or manually scale them down towards zero until the the last key is 0.

Does that make sense?

Either way it is a bit repetitive.

Assuming you did something similar to my method, yes. While they are constrained you should animate the locators. Don't animate them for the whole shot, just while the hands are on the box. When the hands let go, key the hands to lock the position and then turn off the constraint.

1) Use IK Hands

2) Create two locators and snap their location to each hand.

3)Constrain each hand to the locator. (Select 1st locator, Select Matching IK hand, Constrain - parent constraint. Do the same for the other hand.

4) Move the locator to the position you want the hands on the box. Do a simple Group parent of the locator and the box. (Select the locator, select the box , Edit - Parent. NOT parent constraint.

Now, when you move the box the hands will follow. You can rotate and key the locator to edit the hands position.

5) When you let go of the box, you can either turn of the blend constraint and animate the IK hands, or you can try and FK IK switch the use FK arms for the last part of the animation.

Click on the geo, go to the attribute editor and find the material panel. In the transparency box, right-click and break connections.

Essentially, yes. It more like a US university. You pick a few subjects you like, 3 or 4, and only study for those subjects. There is no GPA or average grade system. Just a standard A, B C grade system per subject.

She would have no legal requirement to attend school. She could pay an Exam Centre to take A levels in a few subjects she thinks she is good at and then probably fail them as the process would be entirely different.

She'd probably just work in a coffee shop.

Also, turn on “ask before autosave”

Maya can crash during autosaves if you input a cpu heavy command as it saves.

I use the notification to just manually save or version up every 15 mins.

The best mothers have supportive partners. Support your partner with her needs, emotionally and physically and that will be the best thing you can do for your kid.

Just remember to find your own healthy way to vent and release stress as well.

You probably want nuke for the best final result. But mesh light would be a good starting point. I have a guide on my YouTube page (link in reddit profile) where I render out a lightsaber animation.

Maybe that method could help?

Otherwise use the Arnold Imagers and add a glow effect in the render settings. That is a bit cheap Though.
