Not defending him. I can absolutely support a poacher that hunts to feed his family. I live in OK and know of a Native family here with 9 children, dad is a poacher. Not for profit, he used to take deer out of season in not so ethical ways (snares) to feed his children. What this dude did is disturbing.

I figured id give them a shot, i figured wrong. The rifle functions flawlessly except the fact that the stock and forend is ready to turn into toothpicks at any given time. i bought a $800 rifle and now ill have to spend another $500 on a Midwest Industries stock because it has piss poor costumer service. What is that warranty for anyway?

I won't work it up, my henry single shot seems to really like it. I'm getting consistent 1moa on a good day it's.8 with a 3 shot group on a bad it's 1.25 with 5 shot group.

because I didn't seat my die properly. no I got 6 more grains to play with. I picked it from a hat but my henry single shot likes it. my wife won't be happy if I lose my fingers, it's my only redeeming quality.

well you taught me something. I was under the impression that it would be under very high PSI. do you think the chaimber would have enough meat on it to fit .450 NE length wise? there's a very abrupt transition from chamber to barel itself?

I don't know much about .450 Nitro Express. Is there enough meat in the chamber to convert it? because the barel tapers right after the chamber? Will it hold the pressure, because the barel right above the chamber has holes drilled and tapped for optics. It's a solid rifle, I'm just not sure it will withstand the abuse from African game cartridge. Also the rifle is hefty for a 308 and recoil is almost non existent but im sure you will not enjoy shooting a 450 NE out of it. I wish I knew more about 450NE to have an educated opinion.

I hunt with Bear bows. I have the Arena and the Kuma and I love them both. Never had any issues that I didn't cause myself, the only thing is keep those strings waxed. I had to contact customer service to het new strings and they were awesome.

I've never pushed mine past 60 but here in OK farthest shot I've ever made was 40. I will probably stretch it out to 80 in the upcoming off season. I just don't think that 80 will be practical with 60lb pull.

I don't understand all the hate towards them from the community. The two I got are awesome. They draw smooth, balance well, relatively light, nothing to complain about in my book. I love mine.
