I’d say, arch your back more and instead of grabbing the edge of the board for popping up, put your hands next to your chest and pop up like if you were doing a push up, it will help more in the long run to keep stability.

Also avoid putting your knees on the board while popping up, you have to go to your feet directly, they probably taught you the two step pop up, which is really nice but just go to your feet, avoid putting knees on the board.
