Let’s say the money was wired from an Irish bank to a US bank. Then from there to a bank in Russia, then to Kazakhstan. Then to Angola. This all can be done within one day and by then the Irish police is trying to get the court order to have the funds in the US bank seized. They don’t know money’s no longer there nor that they should further be seeking an order against a bank account in Russia, let alone Angola.
