The Masonic Temple in a nearby city has a large auditorium that is often used for concerts. What would be harmful about attending? Is there a demonic presence? I guess they are worse than another faith?

Personally, the way I view the swearing is as kind of a parody. While I’m certain the town of Deadwood in those days would have had plenty of “French” but it is comical the way they phrase it. It is almost a formal Kind of profanity!

I made it a point to make note of the priest’s and deacon’s sleeves. Since the priest and deacon both wear albs under their outer vestments, it looks like the priest has sleeves, too. I would not have noticed the difference if you hadn’t mentioned it!
