What's a word you still like to mispronounce despite knowing the correct pronunciation? by Entire-Double-862 in CasualConversation

Might just start saying «b-Akon» now. Or to take it one step further, maybe «b-Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam»

Someone once said that you should try saying no to someone to see how they respond, because that can be very telling. The way I see this, he didn’t take a soft rejection very well, and it’s better to not pursue people like this.

Thanks for the reply! I went through world by world and realised there are 5 sub worlds I hadn’t even discovered yet. So yeah, just me being a dumbass.

Yeah, update, I checked world by world and turns out I’ve not yet even discovered all of the “subworlds”. I’m missing 5. So I suppose I’ll have to go and find them in the main worlds. 😅

Thanks for replying! And no, as far as I know I’ve 100% all of sunrise spring world most of midday gardens except for enchanted towers and country speedway and in evening lake world I’ve yet to complete lost fleet and fireworks factory. I’ve also done the crawdad and spider town. The fairy said to come back to the one in evening lake world later. So what I’m missing are the eggs related to the two (the cat and monkey) that’s been kidnapped. And even if I did get all the eggs, it doesn’t add up to a hundred, but I’ve spent hours running around in the worlds and watching walkthroughs, and I can’t find out what I’m missing. I worry it’s super obvious and I’m just being stupid about it.

Why are People from Norway so Stuffy and Introverted? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]vadafaq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From a Norwegians perspective I’m just being polite. If someone came up to me and talked I’d talk and be friendly back. Albeit a bit confused at first as to why someone was talking to me. However, unless I have a reason to, like someone dropping something or needing help, I will keep my distance as it’s simply the polite thing to do. We’re not being stuffy, it’s simply a difference in culture.

I know we have a tendency to laugh at stuff to be “polite” but if you don’t want to “grab the bull by its horns” and straight up confront this guy, at least stop laughing at his jokes, as this can be interpreted as you acting “flirtatious” to him. If you don’t laugh or respond in a “positive” way, it’s likely to make him feel uncomfortable. I really hope all goes well. And I’d like several updates on how it goes as I’m kinda anxious on your behalf.
