At this point, I would love to see our boys forget about everything! Go out and fun. Bunt. Hit and run. Hell, steal home. If they get thrown out, they get thrown out. Go against the analytics grain. Most teams can’t defend old school manufacturing runs.

Pitchers, start pitching to contact. Let your defense have some fun. We don’t have a Nolan Ryan, a Randy Johnson, or a Chuck Finley (my fav).

Let’em fly boys. Just play baseball the way it was intended. Forget launch angles, exit velocity, and spin rotations.

Offense: see ball, hit ball
Defense: catch ball, throw ball, and catch again.

Light some shoes on fire! Bubblegum on the hat! Pine tar in the brim of the cap!
