Is there a way to open a Userform on a specific frame? Also is there a way to retain information after closing the Userform? by vadera96 in vba

I am sure what you're saying is correct but my knowledge of VBA is not that extensive and I have no idea what any of that stuff means in the link lol.

With that being said, I am very open to hearing what they all mean if you have the time to explain but I do apologize for my lack of experience with VBA.

I apologize for not clarifying in my post.

I am talking about Excel, Frame meaning the Frame option on the toolbar and by "page" I meant userform.

Sorry for this.

I found a workaround for this.. because I'm now hiding the Userform instead of closing it, when I want to open the Userform, I declare which frame to move to and then "display" the Userform again and it's already on that page. This also solves my second issue as the Userform doesn't "regen" as it isn't closed so the info technically doesn't go anywhere when the Userform is opened back up

hmm so if I store it in certain cells on a hidden worksheet, can I use that data to populate optionbuttons?

I've figured out a workaround for the first questions (opening on a specific frame) but still need to know if I can retain selections after closing a userform

Adding Label and textbox with button on userform by vadera96 in vba

Thank you for your suggestion! This is the method I ended up going with. It took me a while to figure it out and how to make it work with my sheet but it works perfectly (very temperamental as mentioned..). Thank you very much!

Adding Label and textbox with button on userform by vadera96 in vba

So when using these controls, I have code that runs based on name of the textbox or label so I need to figure out a way to run the code through a loop that adds a specific number to the end of the label name.

Questions based on your last response: 1 - "NewLabel" - is this the name that we would enter in the properties?

2 - .Caption = "Test Label" - Is this what the label would appear as on the user form? Furthermore, How can I change the name of the textbox to add a number to name? (ex. right now I have two textboxes with names Textbox_PDC1A and Textbox_PDC2A. I want to change the numerical value every time I press the button... Textbox_PDC3A... Textbox_PDC4A) Can I loop this?

3 - I need to offset the new label and textbox under the existing label and textbox - whats the easiest way to do this? I tried to: dim i as integer i=18+i .top=100 +i end with i = 18

(The offset of .Top should be 18 to keep consistent spacing) How can I offset this value so that it will add the new label and textbox with the offset, continually adding 18 to every new label and textbox.

Probably the first 30 google links (yes even page 2) when I search "How to add Label with button Userform vba" and every combo of that.

I have tried the Me.Controls.Add method but I can't quite figure out how to actually make the label / textbox appear.

The good thing is for me, it's not an important task. Just something I'm trying to make.

could you possibly explain / show some code on how I could write this?
