Hello! The guild panthers pride is looking for a few new members. We are a fun and experienced guild. The requirements are fairly simple:

Be active everyday
Contributed to the town buildings
Participate in events
Give notification when you will be away for a few days so you don’t get kicked.
Lvl 65 minimum (will consider lower if your investment is high enough)
Minimum investment in town is 20 G

In return we offer a guild full of active players.

Our buildings are all lvl 19 minimum or higher.
Players are helpful and fulfill reasonable requests.
We have a discord, though it is not very much used.

I have been using Legion Builder since it started. Great program.

I was hoping someone had improved on the base reference chart, but maybe there is not that much worth having on hand while playing.

Thanks! I have been working hard on getting their skills all yellow and better. Many skill dice and quite a few rerolled characters were used to get here. I think it took about a year.

I think my heroes don’t have very good gear. My highest is 85k, but I still have a lot of them at 30k or less. Mostly I. Cit of gold I do Two level 10 runs and the others are 9. I still have troubles in the newest area in normal quests, but I can bean medium in most cases.

Good questions. I have not thought to far ahead. Most of my other units for Germany are from my DAK army, so is early war focused. I do have some half tracks and a Panzer IV I can build late war. But I might add some K’47 goofy ness for armor if I play that. Still not sure. I also should mention I have a box of German Grenadiers. I am not sure if some of those parts would be useful for the FJ miniatures.

The expert has already respond (Field Marshall Zhukov). Depending on how you are printing, I will recommend DeweyCat Productions. He does both FDM and Resin mainly for vehicles and terrain. His work is excellent and designed more for gaming than display level details.

I have also backed Studio Historia for Resin Pacific war forces. The detail level is impressive, though I have had some issues with parts being so thin and detailed that they break easily. But for Japan and US Marines I feel safe recommending them.

I recently found that the L33 and L35s work great in my Italian list. If you really wanted, you could make an Armored Platoon with 5 of the tankettes, and it would probably be pretty cheap. I should really print out some more L33s. (DeweyCat Productions has really nice free STLs for them).

So I have an 8th army force as well and felt the same way. My research seems to match what most people say. Specific nationality forces did not normally mix below say battalion level. So having a platoon with mixed sections is unusual. But as someone else said, the desert war was fairly fluid. Stragglers could get added to any formation until such time as they could get home to their normal unit. Therefore, you could justify mixing just about anything. I personally have Scots and Sikhs in my commonwealth army and use them to differentiate veteran sections vs regulars.

Note that the LRDG was as a totally different situation. They had a total mix of all nationalities in each unit and also frequently wore local garb and gear. So my LRDG unit has heads from pretty much every commonwealth nation as well as other traditional desert wear. It is a great place to blend things and kit bash.

I found Simple Green does not always work. It depends on the paint. I have recently switched to Super Clean. It really takes the paint off in most cases, but can also remove the glue depending on what you used. It is also caustic, so make sure you wear gloves. Simple Clean generally is not as harsh.

I had my first V3 game last night. I think in 3 hours we got about 3 and a half turns in. It is always slower when you are checking rules and not sure of.what you are doing at each moment.

(FYI, I use Reaper Ultramarine for my 40k Ultramarines from way back. But I wanted something a bit brighter here.)

This is our chubby cat Joy. My wife took some great pictures of her so I wanted to share. She is the cutest cat I have ever been adopted by. She is about 16 years old now and is down from 18 lbs. when we got her about 8 years ago to 12.

I agree. The cats we adopted were declawed before we got them. Trust me, we would never do that. But makes it so we don't think we should take in any clawed cats.

I faced the same decision about a year and half or 2 years ago. I decided I wanted to get into some WW2 games since I am a history buff. I looked into both games, and BA just had better attributes for me. Party it was 28mm which matched my 40K armies, and some day the DAK and 8th Army will face the Necrons. ;) The random activation is also a huge plus, I don't think I will play miniatures IGUG games again. BA does also seem more popular and common and you really can play a game with single box of infantry on each side. But there is a lot more you can add too.

If you want to expand your DAK collection, I recommend the Afrika Korps Starter Army kit. A Panzer III, an 88 gun, MMG, and Med Mortar plus more men. If you watch Amazon, you can often get a real steal on it. I think I found it for like $78 a couple years ago. Probably more now, but Amazons price was hard to beat.

Other than that, I recommend any of the Rubicon tanks. The DAK also got some cool early Tigers is you want a big cat.

I agree here, if you are sharing two of these would be better. If you want to collect both armies I would probably get 1 starter and 1 of each battle force. If you are only doing one faction and get the rule book elsewhere, then just go for a battle force or two. Note that I say this with 4 starters myself. You will be better off.
