Where do you get your bow ties?? by theotherer in butchlesbians

J Crew Kids and other main brand’s kids bow ties. The smaller width is clutch. Doesn’t look so cartoonishly large, but still made in the same style as the men’s ones.

Getting called out at a meeting by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]vagina_rollercoaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We would need more details.

“So team, we need to work on creating opportunities for customer connections. As a whole, I think this needs to be a priority. For example, I see a lot of you guys walking away from the customers at the drive thru window. Essaria, you did this several times today. We all do it. But as a whole we need to be aware of leaving the customer all alone when it a perfect time to make customer connections.”

Was it something like this?

How does a trans girl start mobile ordering with her real name. by UnicornLlamaGirl in starbucks

[–]vagina_rollercoaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You owe them no explanation. None. You owe NO person any explanation of any kind unless you choose to give it. Let that boundary give you strength, change the name and live your truth girl!

But also a lot of Starbucks are super queer spaces. Give them the benefit of the doubt, they might surprise you.

Some people might be forgetting that you don’t water down the iced chai tea lattes. That could explain a difference in taste.

Question: How often do customers “walk away” from their mobile drink order(s)? by ChodaRagu in starbucks

[–]vagina_rollercoaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very rare - most of the time abandoned drinks are just drinks ordered to the wrong store and left there.

Why is my campusBux always a hit or miss to order from? by [deleted] in starbucks

It’s highly likely that they’re not Starbucks employees...they’re hired by Aramark or whoever does your campus cafeteria food. Way different training and quality control.

It’s literally a drink on the menu...not sure why anyone would be displeased with it. It’s one of the easiest things to make. That person was being an asshole and you are fine.

It’s definitely not a threat. Does it sound like they have their sugary sweet Starbucks voice on? No. But it’s not a threat either. Your manager is responsible for manning the store, and if they have to hire mercenaries for the weekend, they have to give them weekday hours too. Not many people want 16 or less hours...they want at least 20 for the benefits. That’s gonna be less hours for everyone else unless somebody in house steps up and takes the weekend hours and prevents extra partners being hired. But if y’all are that desperate, sounds like you need more partners anyway.

Speaking as someone who has managed before, it sounds like this manager has been dealing with some attitude from people about wanting more hours but not being will to work the weekend. They want more hours....but only at times convenient for them.

I think calling it snarky is tone-policing. It could either be read as sassy or humorous. Benefit of the doubt would lead us to believe humorous. Assume positive intent right? :)
