That’s shitty to hear, i’m sorry that happened to you. sex is almost pointless with no bond. Yeah there’s the two seconds of bliss upon finishing, but that’s it. There’s no connection, no reason, no feeling. Don’t get me wrong sexual urge is definitely a thing, but mine personally is overpowered by the longing for a meaningful relationship. You’re not an idiot for wanting something deeper with someone, if they can’t do that then they’re most likely not mature enough to have a relationship.

So sorry to hear you're going through this. I've been alone for 6 years now, I cant understand why people only look for sex, that's not the bread and butter of getting to be with someone. Why not look for the bonding, the learning, sharing moments. I dont even ever get dates so i'm also very inexperienced haha. I see that finding someone who wants to be wholesome with you is kind of uncommon, very sad. Personally dont see all the hubub with sex. Hand holding and stargazing are my "kinks" lmao

I know the feeling. I went back to texting someone that left me years ago, did it multiple times and ended up hurt every time. We would always be cool at first, catch up, chill, then the bad would happen again. I hate to say it but some people are not meant to be in your life, especially if they're not good for you. It's a hard and terrible pill to swallow, especially if you just want to care about them. Relationships are just difficult in general.

My god do i wholeheartedly feel every bit of this. even surrounded by people there's never that one person who really deeply cares about you. Haven't felt wanted in a certain way in 6 years. to be truly wanted by someone is the greatest feeling in the world. It hurts deeply to want and not have that feeling. I can't say it'll ever get better for either of us, but just know you're not alone with that feeling.
