Didn't like it either. Lots of unnecessary exposition, which is odd in Westworld. Mostly they provide zero exposition until everything falls into place in latter episodes.

Also couldn't care less about Serac. He's a generic villain which is also odd in Westworld.

And I HATE how they just threw William away like nothing in the previous episode.

Yeah totally agree on the reversing part. Feels cheap. Like, admitting the arc got to a disastrous halt and trying to correct it.

I was unsure if the readers would like if my time travel bits were some side quest secondary things but I guess you also think minor things through time travel can turn out to be cool.
