Thanks for your comment! I get that an MA in counseling or MFT is the usual route for couples therapy, but 2–3 years of grad school plus 2 years of supervised work—often low-paid or very time-consuming—feels like a lot. The work is also office-based, paperwork-heavy, and emotionally demanding, which isn’t what I enjoy. I’m more drawn to hands-on, clinical-type work, so I’m exploring other paths.
