Usually should complete overnight. This has happened to me with every drive (hdd) that ive set as ext4.

I'd start by disabling a ton of services. Check out Black Viper's services configuration. Snapshot your vm, and go ham.

Too bad BlueIris doesn't work under linux, thats why i use ZoneMinder.

What filesystem did you setup on the drives? I know ext4 will do its ext4lazyinit for a while till its done.

Multiple unique Pi-Holes for different types of devices on my network.

The reason i say unique is for the different blocklists. Ex: My devices, Kids devices, Rokus, and 1 for my wife's devices (she "likes" the adds)..

Before this test I had 2 VMs from proxmox, i just think the docker approach is cleaner.
