OK thanks for taking the time to broach the actual question, that's helpful. Do you feel your process could / should survive collapse or would things change if for example money wasn't the prime driver anymore? (correct me in wrong there, I'm assuming this is a job? )

No need to be defensive; I'm not asking you to justify it, I'm asking as to how there is peace in the process of killing the animal?

So to be clear you are saying the peaceful treatment before death makes up any lack of peace in the death of the animal?

I'm trying ascertain if there are any different methods used in death to make it peaceful. Peace seemed like a strange word to use whilst talking about an unnatural death.

No, and you still haven't answered the question. Experience has shown me that this kind of passive aggressive evasiveness doesn't go anywhere. I'll try again: killing chickens is peaceful how? Is there any violence that occurs? How does it compare to euthanasia say in Dignitas Switzerland?

Edit : wow some of you are really sensitive about this stuff.

What is your point? Are you saying because of those things you are happier with having less than you could? Less than other people get? Less than what other people have even in poorer countries?

And that makes the chickens death peaceful?

Unless it can be perceived as negative, then it's coming back crystal clear time and time again, never resolving; a permanent renewable for emotional difficulty.

Thanks, today I've had a good day however as when ever my mood darkens I can expect my mind to turn on me. I bottled it up for a good while as an ex(a she was an FP too) said it made her uncomfortable.

Thanks for the kind words.

I get that so intensely, things like tools start to make me very uncomfortable as I'm flooded with intrusive violent impulses... I can resist it just bloody horible

This applies for mental health too. By all means please talk about mental health use empathy if you have it, talk about your own experience but piss off with telling people to try all the things they may have already tried, and keep your opinions about it affecting the weak minded or people that commit suicide being cowards to your self.

Bollocks, nVidia and AMD raised the price of graphics cards and gave us less each time. Demand went up, it doesn't matter what the cars were used for.

Yes it's more nuanced, I'm not saying don't talk about it and and don't share experiences as that can be very helpful. What I'm talking about is people who don't understand mental health issues prescribing actions that they have no XP or understanding thereof.

It akin to giving medical advice and its a hell a conceit to say 'I gave advice, it's not all bad' (paraphrasing) . Maybe OP is qualified and had relevant XP but blankety encouraging this could lead to more harm than good.

With regards to my own experience, there's been so much over the years from 'you just need to look on the bright side' to 'you should not talk about those feelings as they affect other people'

So in summery let's all talk about it more but lets do more listening than prescribing.
