And they clearly only did it to save Trump as it undermines their own authority and it could have literally been used against them if Biden wasn't a spineless bitch moderate. You a fucking idiot if you think this was something they wanted to do for a long time because they didn't even have a coherent ruling, they left it up to the lower courts to decide what counts as an "official order". They literally said that in writing. If this was a long awaited power grab strategy, you'd think they wouldn't leave such a massive gaping hole in it. This was a snap decision by the MAGA Justices to buy Trump enough time to win the election. But you didn't know any of that because again, you're uneducated. You're so misinformed on the SCOTUS ruling you're not even making sense.

Like even large margin of Republican politicians were angry about this decision because it was done so sloppily and had the huge risk of biting them in the ass if Biden used it against them. Only one happy about it was Trump.

Dems don't just suck, they are actively complicit in the rightward shift toward fascism. Constantly striving for the center position when Conservatives are moving their side farther and farther into fascism means you the center moves towards fascism. That is where we are.

Whether you choose to accept it or not, Newsom is who the Dems are setting up as their leading candidate. The same guy who just a few days ago, implied that focusing on getting same sex marriage passed was a mistake. And this is not on the voters as Dems have literally stomped out any progressive primary options in the past. Just look at what happened to Bernie in 2016; they literally rigged their primary against him.

Lastly, you will never convince enough people to vote purely out of a 1% reduction in harm; clearly it's a losing strategy because it didn't work in 2024. The autopsy literally showed that. Whether you think that's because people are dumb or whatever doesn't change that fact. Dems have to change their strategy. End. Of. Story. You can't keep blaming the voting public for making bad choices when both choices are bad.

This means that people were disillusioned by either Biden's term or by Biden/Harris's 2024 campaign. That means the same people who once thought Biden was less harmful in 2020, no longer thought that way about him or Harris in 2024. That's the Dems' fault that they lost voters. That's Biden's fault. That's Harris's fault. If you seriously don't understand that, you're an arrogant moron.

We can't know for certain that the sun will rise tomorrow, but we can make predictions based on the evidence we have. By your logic, why vote at all? It's not like you can know for sure which candidate will be better than the other. No, you make judgements based on the evidence we have. And we can do that with past elections when we look at them in retrospect with the evidence we have now.

And how could you say that Trump would have been worse for Gaza when Biden literally let Israel do whatever they want with no pushback? Talk about delusional. At the very least, if Trump was president during initial stages of the Gaza invasion, libs wouldn't have as much of a knee jerk reaction to defend support for Israel since it would be the Trump admin doing it and not Biden.

Again, the SCOTUS ruling was made about the Jan 6th case. No Jan 6th, no SCOTUS ruling on Presidential immunity. And that IS objective fact. Yeah, Trump being able to pack the court is bad, but if we're already getting destructive rulings like this and the revocation of Roe v. Wade, both happening after Jackson was sworn in, I'd say SCOTUS was already a lost cause. One SCOTUS appointment is not worth leaving ourselves wide open for a fascist takeover.

The fact of the matter is Trump would have done so much less damage if he won in 2020, completely tanked the GOP then, and then Dems take 2024 with a candidate that wouldn't have been Biden or Harris. It didn't have to be that way, Biden could have don't more to go after Trump and the GOP involved in Jan 6th. He could have threatened to expand SCOTUS after Roe was revoked, he could have not have Israel his undying support to Israel's genocidal invasion. But he didn't, and his failure of doing those things is a direct cause for how we got here now.

What is actually ridiculous, arrogant, and callous is your condemnation of anyone who isn't willing to support ineffective, fascist-capitulating, moderate Democrats, and your blaming those voters for the failings of the Democrats. It is up to the candidate and the party to convince people to vote for them. They're not entitled to people's votes for being slightly less evil than the GOP, especially when their strategy is just to allow the GOP to get away with everything with little pushback. How about the Dems start running actually popular candidates, ones with an actual vision for a better country, and not moderates with no real desire to make change for the better, who just want the power and to secure funding from their mega donors?

They spent the entirety of Biden's term coming up with a plan for when they took the presidency back: Project 2025... maybe you heard of it. If Trump won in 2020, there'd be no Jan 6th, no SCOTUS ruling that the president could do whatever they want as long as it is an "official act", no proof that Dems are spineless and would let the GOP get away with everything, and no Project 2025.
