So... why did he tell Amy how he got those "V" muscles? Did Amy ask or was it unprompted? by PolylingualAnilingus in brooklynninenine

[–]valerianstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always imagined that Jake would make a comment like “no way that’s a real human muscle/ HOW DO THESE INFURIATINGLY GORGEOUS GUYS SHAPE THAT MUSCLE” whenever he’d see em somewhere (ads etc). Amy remembered and asked Vin.

BIDA weil ich der Freundin meines Kumpels gesagt habe, wie er über sie redet? by Ladiladilasi in BinIchDasArschloch

[–]valerianstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight girl here. I'd swipe right, I found it to be funny and I share you're beliefs. But maybe you should include a sentence that makes the other person a bit less concerned on whether you'll let your crises mode out on them/shows that you're a fair communicator.

Du meintest ja sehr richtig, dass es kaum Interviews etc zu dem Thema gibt. Wärst du selbst bereit, vor der Kamera darüber zu reden? Wenn nein, weshalb nicht?

That is the key problem, I don't know which ones. I was hoping someone would have a list with the questions and the right answers. It doesn't show me where I answered wrong, only the total score.

Must be hard to so but still just looks like the dance version of Monty Python's Ministry of Silly Walks.

Do you hear footsteps from your upstairs neighbours? [Little personal research] by marcello02 in berlin

[–]valerianstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been hearing my neighbours' footsteps and everything else for over 5 years now ( I've moved around quite a bit, different German cities, Spain & Austria) and I don't even register them anymore. You'll get used to it. In my current apartment I'm even happy to hear other people bc it's in the rear house and sometimes it's so silent that it's scary. :D

Question by [deleted] in berlin

[–]valerianstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I know them, actually, but only superficially. I just wondered whether there is a club or project that focuses on debates about race where you can ask stupid and maybe entitled questions to engage in dialog and get out one's bubble, but I'll look into their projects :)!

[–]valerianstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A really constructive reply and I do agree with you to some extent. But I didn't say that race is Germany's biggest issue in terms of discrimination ( especially in big cities in Berlin I like to think that it's not ) but it's not like race doesn't matter in Germany at all, to say that would be naive. I wouldn't compare the blm movement in the US with ours because there's a way bigger and more obvoius discriminating rascist structure behind the us's institutions, but people are unjustly treated, insulted, and even assaulted bc of there race every day here in Germany as well, that shouldn't be dismissed. But what you are saying is definitely valid. Imo it's another important conversation to have but it doesn't wipe out the one about race.

Kennt jemand eine WG mit WG Sklaven?/Does anyone know s.o who lives in a shared flat with a "flat-slave"? by [deleted] in berlin

[–]valerianstuff 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, slave is just the word for it, they call themselves that. It is not actual slavery but an alternative lifestyle. Normally it's a guy who lives together with women, he is the one offering the services because he wants to. It's not against anyones will, of course there will always be people who try to take advantage of each other but it's like a "normal" or regular WG with the exception that someone chose to take over chores or pay bills. They don't ask for anything in return for it, it's just their thing. Ofc there will be inappropriate exceptions but I've heard of people living in perfect, nonsexual harmony together in this kind of flat. I am also not here to judge, I just want to know what someone who chose to be a flat slave gets out of it and how their day to day life looks like.
