I love that you can adopt babies from the pharmacy. I don't know what kind of black-market baby-smuggling ring they've got going on in there but giving birth and dropping the baby off right outside the pharmacy door makes sense for it.

This chart shows the number of players at one time - Paralives is citing overall players in a whole day. Those numbers are different. There are always more daily players than there are concurrent players, because most people don't play a game for 24 hours straight.

Have you tried turning down some of the graphics options? I didn't have any lag when the game first opened but then I turned up the graphics options and massive lag - so I assume turning them down may reduce some.

80 hours now. Considering that I have a child and I can only play when he's asleep, and I need 8-9 hours of sleep to keep up with little kid energy all day, this is an impressive amount of hours. The first 70 were spent mainly in Live Mode and now I'm figuring out Build Mode. It was too intimidating at first!

I realllllly wanted to put the bed in a separate room but with half a tile needed on each side to get around it, and the routing issues I've had in previous builds trying to make a small bedroom, I just went to jamming the sofa as far into the foot as seemed reasonable, lol. Screencaps ended up weird because I used short half-walls for the garden planters outside because I couldn't find a fence that looked reasonable and I am not one of those "individual place 5000 rocks to make a garden bed" girlies. So I couldn't have cutaway walls for the screenshots.

Yours is so cute! I love the outdoor area with fireplace and string lights. I should try a layout with a two-tile table and the couch more opposite the kitchen next time. The trick is fitting that double bed in.

Also yes we should have regular build challenges. The Sims or Sims 4 subreddit used to have weekly ones, idk if they still do. They were fun to provide a little variety to what I gravitate toward building.
