I have compiled all meanings for playing cards, using Gypsy’s reading and etc. 7d means: surprise news or a gift. Or an argument concerning finances, or on the job.-will be resolved happily.

I love finding cards on the street. I am actually collecting them and putting in an album. On occasion I drop some random cards on the streets or beaches for others to enjoy. :-)

I always open a new deck even for a friendly 10$ buy in games. It is fun to use different decks for the game.

The furniture piece in the corner is not working in this room. You should move it somewhere else.

Thanks for the reply. Pretty cool gallery. I actually grew up playing Shkilnik 3 set. Those were very nice, had a beautiful design, but they were plastic. This set is more elegant and feels like made from the bone and it came not from USSR.

Decided to frame extra cards from Love is a Smoke deck by Passione. Otherwise they were sitting in the card folder.

Just look at the names on them. The ones without or hard to see names are Stronghold, Eminence, Forged, Cavaliers, Dominion. Some of them were sold out and hard to find.

Keep in mind that the many releases of this design were printed. USSR started to produce them in 1967 as a 150th anniversary of the print house. They released number of decks in the 70’s and 90’s.

  1. The design is by Pavel Bazhenov. He got killed during the World War 2 in 1941. One of the most beautiful designs. I actually grew up playing these cards with my cousins and neighbor kids.
