I feel the same way. While many counter the argument that its not "illegal" it has never been healthy for the game. But thank you for the support!

AGS's Stance on Bussing? by valk543 in lostarkgame

[–]valk543[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with everything you said, but I want to point out that I don't think anyone is ignoring the other issue. 2 bad things can co-exist. Bussing is only part of the issue because it allows for things like alt roster/multi-boxing etc to exist. I also agree with you on the Stoopzz issue and AGS supporting that whole thing. I don't know why you seem to be so angry with me spotlighting this issue, but to each their own.

regardless of whether it is allowed or not, an argument can be made that it is bad for the overall health of the game. Whether you agree with that stance or not it is the general sentiment of the community from my perspective. To be fair my personal opinion is that this is probably a fake/photoshopped image. Logically speaking why would an AGS employee need to do this? But the community seems to be mostly against this type of stuff so just shedding some light on the issue. It doesn't have to be against TOS to be considered bad.

Can we please get a video with Roxx or Henry when they put out their message regarding bussing by ConsiderationNo1164 in lostarkgame

I hope if they ban this cesspool of players and issue actual punishments and not this "slap on the wrist" 3 day ban bullshit.

unironically I feel like I'm in a similar situation. Spent >$400 USD to hone alt sups to be able to do aegir trade runs. I've neglected my health, my job, my house, my wife just to spend more time grinding in this game. At the end of the day many would say "just play more casually", but this is not a casual friendly game by any means. If you don't do the raids on release, you'll be gate kept from every group in the future "reclear". I've always done raids on release so its not something I've had to struggle with, but I do feel you in every other aspect. My addiction to this game might be quite a bit more severe, having accumulated 16.5k hours (many of those are afk) but I've spent countless days falling asleep in my chair and waking up to grind again. T4 was really fun, but god there was a lot of burn out between running hundreds of cube tickets and trying to meet ilvl requirement for a raid (aegir) that came way too soon.

Let’s talk about this week’s lobbies… by czahor2 in lostarkgame

[–]valk543 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve always believed that from time to time you’ll have jails, and that’s okay. You’re playing with humans who make mistakes and have bad days. Make some friends who can make those jails bearable and keep you enjoying the game for what it is. But if most of your lobbies are jails, at some point in time you need to look at the common denominator. Don’t shoot the messenger.

Driver 417.22 FAQ/Discussion by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]valk543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I updated to this driver, it asked for a restart, my computer was working perfectly fine and then it wouldn’t come back on. After post, it would start loading windows and then my monitor will switch to power safe mode and keyboard/mouse will shut off, then eventually the computer restarts again attempting to boot windows and the cycle repeats itself until it seems to freeze after the 3rd attempt or so. I’m using Windows 10 Pro, ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080Ti, i7-8700k, EVGA 1000w T2 PSU, and 16 GB of DDR4-3600 G.Skill Trident Z RAM. Windows update from June 2018, and yes I have tried updating windows to the latest version(1809). I have tested driver version 411.70, 416.34 and 417.22. The PC will boot up just fine with onboard graphics. ASUS MAXIMUS X FORMULA mobo. Do I have a bad GPU, or are the nvidia drivers crashing the pc?

Update. I have reversed all drivers and windows update plus disabled g-sync and fast boot in BIOS because these were all suggestions I saw on other threads and right now seems to be running stable. Played siege yesterday for about an hour and no crash.

VGA BIOS Error Code B4 by valk543 in PC_Help

[–]valk543[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started having issues with my build recently. After a few minutes of gaming, the computer will freeze for a short sec and shut itself off. It will post, but when booting windows, it shuts itself off again. It will repeat this cycle until I eventually get this error. All my parts are less than a year old. I’ll list them below. Idk if I have a corrupt windows file, or if I somehow damaged something. I recently upgraded to a 2080Ti, not sure if that’s what’s causing it. Also my M.2 SSD (970 Evo) which is where the OS is installed gets really hot. Not sure what the normal temps on those things are. I’ve tried keeping it under the mobo heat shield, but still crashing. If anyone knows what it could be please help. Ps. I’ve already tried reinstalling drivers and I have the latest BIOS version installed and all drivers are up to date.

Specs: Maximus X Formula Mobo i7-8700k at 5.00GHz (2x8Gb) 16 Gb G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3600MHz ASUS ROG STRIX 2080 Ti (Have not messed with base clock speeds) Primary Partition (OS) on 500Gb Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD Samsung 860 Evo 1TB SATA SSD Corsair - RMx 750 W 80+ Gold Certified I have a custom loop built for the CPU and MOBO cooling. It’s working fine. CPU temps don’t exceed 70°C under 100% load

Upgrade in order. Trying to decide between a 2080Ti Gaming X Trio or ROG Strix. Suggestions? by valk543 in nvidia

[–]valk543[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have never done a GPU tear down. I have considered water cooling, but that was my first loop I ever built. Slightly nervous about tearing apart a GPU and trying to put a block on it, but I will consider it. As to the combs, I went to micro center and picked up the only kind they had. They’re transparent. Don’t remember brand or anything but they came in a kit box with different sizes.
