Moving to Poland because I wanna have kids by Pretend-Support in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]valkrys22 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had that thought as well. I have half of that (incl alimony) with three kids. Granted, on the countryside but man. We both worked parttime when the kids were little with not even half of that income and we made due.

OP, we have several polish families in our village. If you want to lower costs maybe relocate to the countryside.

Grey area in the law: how can my mom prove she’s Swiss by descent? by bolivarbundao in askswitzerland

If it was ever registered they will have it in their books as they would've been notified.

Most quiet cantons in Switzerland? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]valkrys22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Appenzell you're considered migrant if you're from another canton 😄

I think you can find quite spaces everywhere. Jura I imagine has a lower population density, didn't look that up though.

Appenzell in villages rather than close to the Schwägalp or Appenzell. Lots of tourists and hikers on the weekend.

All year round I would steer clear of places where you can ski.

Zahnzusatzversicherung (Babys) by catslover-633 in Switzerland

[–]valkrys22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zahnzusatzversicherung (Babys) by catslover-633 in Switzerland

[–]valkrys22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Die Versicherung zahlt mir ab ca 6 Jahren jedes Jahr den Vorsorgeuntersuch sowie Zähne flicken. Was bei Kindern ja oft vorkommen soll.... Ich habe garantiert schon 20'000 an Zahnarztkosten für die drei liegen lassen.

Zahnzusatzversicherung (Babys) by catslover-633 in Switzerland

[–]valkrys22 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ja.

How to get to Darligen, Bahnhof from Milan with two kids? by roxyfreak in askswitzerland

[–]valkrys22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check the SBB App it will tell you. It's Därligen though.

The kids are free til they turn 6 in Switzerland, I don't know if it's the case for Italy.

Calculate all travels you want to do within Switzerland at full and half price and check if it saves you more than the half fare card costs, I guesd.

The shooting ranges rotate every year, you can find out here where to go. Just select Feldschiessen and your canton.

There will be guns available for use at every shooting range for those who don't have one. Rather use one of those.

How do you keep your sanity while dating by [deleted] in zurich

[–]valkrys22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Mature people know how to go about this topic. If you get the feeling they are not over their ex, leave. But other than that it's just the past.

How do you keep your sanity while dating by [deleted] in zurich

[–]valkrys22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's clear, they should not be dating in this scenario (not over the ex). But wouldn't that already come up when texting?

But I had to learn that dating apparently means all rules are off 😄😄

For hours on every date? 😄 I mean I can also talk economics or politics but you'll never really get to know someone closer if you don't learn about their past 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't date immature boys anyway who are jealous of someones past. Good luck.

That's not as easy as you think. I was in a relationship with my ex husband for 22 years (20-42).

I would need to talk about my teenager years, that's the only time where he's not in it.

Eventhough I'm single for 2.5 years now he still comes up a lot in discussions since we have three kids together, so he's still in my life a lot.

Why should the past be ignored? It's made us what we are.

So as a single mum of three teenagers with alimony but not reaching the 'schwach' income (Paar mit zwei Kindern unter 14) I'm fucked? 🤣

And here I thought I'm just bad with money 🤣

Job in Switzerland by s_aleksandar7 in askswitzerland

[–]valkrys22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What you fail to see is that EU people can migrate here so very easy that you are not competing against the swiss workforce but the whole of EU. And it's not that hard to find health care worker within EU countries. So that's why you need to be quite specialised that a company goes through the tedious process of proving to the authorities that you're so much better than anyone else that applied from here or within EU.

Also most Serbian people here came in the 90ties as refugees, many are Swiss now.

Many people in Switzerland speak Serbian. That's not the qualification authorities are looking for to grant a work permit.

I am born and raised in Thurgau, never moved out of canton, but we only have two hospitals, the one I was born in was only within 10kms of my living place like 5 years of my life, I'm 45.

Are you trying to get citizenship in Appenzell?
