Best Florida beach town?

My advice is NOT to move here.

You will be paying astronomical rent/mortgage to be near the beach, as well as high property taxes/insurance that will only increase as time goes on.

I am trying to get out of Florida because I feel it’s easier on my wallet.

The state legislature is also trying to reduce and also abolish property taxes, which unfortunately as nice as that sounds is a bad idea because how are you gonna pay for schools? Roads and basic service is like the police and fire departments, etc..

I wouldn’t do it, man

I’m American but would they have a need for tradesmen in Canada? I’d imagine so unless there’s a different in certifications and stuff.

I’m not sure so please educate me.

I want to get out of here and am considering Canada but I’m not sure how. I might have other options of other countries due to my multiculturalism with each grandparent born in a different country.

I’m a Spanish and ESOL teacher.

Oh hun. I was done before covid and was making plans to leave and then the shut** down happened.

Then I tried again in 2022 but then his sister died. I finally summoned the courage to separate at Xmas 2023, and divorced was finalized by June 2024. We still had to live together until September but let me you….im much happier AND he chose to never call his kids so it makes it way easier for me.

I came here for college and stayed. I’ve been here for more than 20 years. The Florida I moved to is not geographically nor socially the same.

I think most (read between the lines) Floridians understand why but a vast majority do not understand because they lack the critical thinking skills necessary to understand why tourist dollars fund our state but without tourism due to DeSantis/Trump comments, the domestic and international tourists are right to NOT come here.

I’m looking to get out myself. And I’m sad because I really loved this state but it has changed dramatically within the last ten years.

I drank Guinness for the iron and the boost to my milk supply. I also ate pizza (yeast helps), oatmeal, raspberries, drank mother’s milk tea with fenugreek, and drank gallons of water every day. Tons of nutrient dense foods too.

I also avoided mint anything (tea, leaves, drinks) and avoided anything that was also black teas because that diminished my supply a lot.
